Don’t really know a lot about Virginia but as long as we play our game we should be good. I would like to our defense improve as long as our free throw shooting.

It’s early but not a good start down 14-10 we are taking to many bad shots. Roberts went down and she had to be helped off the court and to the locker room. Virginia defense is causing us problems. We need to attack inside and draw fouls.

Roberts definitely twisted her left ankle. Big loss against a team fighting for an NCAA tournament bid.

End of the first quarter and it has been a lot of defense and very little offense. Cards down 18-14 offense is not very efficient right now.

First foul call on Istanbulluoglu was complete crap. Offensive player actually fouled her on the hook. Really hurts because now she has 2 and has to sit the rest of the half.

Similar to the Duke game, Virginia’s length is really bothering us. Going to have to hit some 3s to force them out of their zone defense and push the pace to get some fast breaks before they can set up that zone.

I agree we are playing bad on our own but we don’t need really bad calls by the referee to compound it. We just don’t look prepared for this game. We are going to have to make adjustments down low to get more rebounding on offense.

Down 41-30 and nothing is going our way and I mean NOTHING.

We need to push the ball up court before the Virginia defense sets up. We also need to keep attacking the inside drawing fouls. Unfortunately we aren’t hitting our 3 point shots. Hopefully we make adjust the half that work if not we can kiss that #2 seed goodbye.

Absolutely. At least two times now we make a good pass to get a layup and the Virginia guard flies in to rake our shooter across the arm. No foul called.

Refs just don’t seem to reward good offensive plays anymore. If you make a good play to beat the defense, you shouldn’t be allowed to hack the offensive player to wipe out that good play.

We are off to a good start in the 2nd half we are still down by 3 though. I hope we can stay in rhythm because the Virginia defense because right now I like what I am seeing.

Istanbulluoglu is a one woman wrecking crew! Stupid foul call against her in the first half completely changed the game.

3rd quarter Virginia up by 7 we have to play better defense in the final quarter.

Virginia is making incredible shots if they hit shots like this every game I don’t see how they have8 losses.

So far it just looks to me that Va is better than us More physical, better defense and at least one player that is better than any one we have on offense.

Cards up by 1 with 31.4 left Virginia will have the last shot I don’t feel good about this. Defense has to step up here and get a stop.

We lose by 2 on a hard fought game the disastrous 1st quarter determined the outcome. I thought the refs were absolutely awful but I also thought Virginia was really good.

Hated that we took another ‘L’ in the ACC. Didn't play our best, but we are still in control. On the next..Go Cards!

We are going to have to win our last 2 regular season games and make to the ACC Championship game to end up with a 2 seed.

Frustrating out shots weren’t falling. Offense seemed out of sync with no one scoring but Elif. Crowd was loud but smaller than it should have been. We need to pack the house against the Irish

Well welcome to the ACC. Duke lost by 2 to Clemson so we are only 1 game back.

Also #6 Michigan lost to Iowa. Rankings will be interesting this week.
