do you guys think any will look to transfer? If so you think the NCAA lets them without sitting out? I'm sure it's too late now but thinking they might bail second semester. Thoughts?

I guess it all depends on what the NCAA does. If a kid has to sit, there is absolutely no reason to transfer, until after the season is over. At least he would play this year.

They all should be in school now. The semester started a while back. Some may leave at the end of the semester.

i will say all of them will stay this year. now next year when the ncaa drops the thor size hammer then the ncaa will grant them all free to transfer where ever they want without sitting out a year. just like they did the hoosiers when they got hammered. then you will see a mass running from the sinking ship. more than likely all the roster will have will be walkons and whoever they can convince to play there while they can.

I'd say some will leave now or at the end of the semester, they came there to play for Rick and now with all negativity and trouble coming, I'm sure some will want to get out from under that.

In a situation like this the NCAA always let's the player transfer without sitting out a year.

Not accurate. Players can transfer without sitting out once the NCAA metes out punishment and if said punishment prevents the kid from playing in the post season before his eligibility expires.

The NCAA will not let any of these kids transfer mid-year and be eligible.

What in the holy hell is going on here?? Can someone please fill me in? This place is crazy. Is this a BB site or a RP site. Does anyone know who U13 was? Sounds like he was from Kansas or maybe UNC. Anyone know who this is. Also, heard that another coach PT2 would be arrested Monday. WTF.

Even if the players are allowed to play this year will Louisville be permitted to play in the postseason?
If the Cards are banned from the tournaments the players may decide a transfer is best for them regardless if they have to sit out or not.

IU players that had more eligibility than the post season ban had to sit a year at their new place. Chris Mills had to sit a year at Arizona as well.

Underclassmen who transferred out or left for the NBA following Sampson's departure -- Eric Gordon (L.A. Clippers), DeAndre Thomas (NAIA Robert Morris), Eli Holman(sitting out at Detroit), Armon Bassett (sitting out at UAB), Jordan Crawford (sitting out at Xavier) and Brandon McGee (sitting out at Auburn) -- can now be found all over the map.

UL players included but also looking at the big picture as it is in the process of taking shape, how does the landscape of college basketball change for this season or does it?

Is this a serious question?
Check out this video on YouTube:

Oh... that was a movie?

Or perhaps it was a poor attempt at sarcasm?

I knew it was a photo of Jack Torrance maniacally axing the bathroom door and was being sarcastic as to the tone of the comment, which seemed to be a bit frantic, compared to the avatar of the poster.

Ah, I wasn't sure, sarcasm is hard to detect by text sometimes. My bad.

There will likely be some transfers. But regardless, they're about to fall a long way in terms of talent. Bowen is ineligible and both 5-star recruits next year decommitted. Snider and Mahmoud graduate after this year. Adel almost went pro last year - he'll be gone. That leaves Spalding, King, and incoming freshman Malik Williams as the only highly recruited guys left, and some or all may transfer or take a crack at the NBA. It's about to be ugly.

If King does not excel to draft status this year, I see him transferring. This will be the young guys' team next year and the recruiting class will likely suck. So, the rest probably stay.

I heard Coach R2D2 was already arrested. I'm awaiting confirmation from Yoda.

Will be a while before NCAA gets ahold of this (can you tell I'm from KY?)

Probably smart move having Padegett stay as the players wanted him, so that means most if not all players will stay.

Might not make that big of a difference who is coaching this year anyway.

Total cluster no matter how it is looked at.

Eh, taking in one of Pitinos assistants and former players connected to this mess isn't a good look. Trying to keep a team together should be the very last thing on their minds. This is Just insanity.

Louisville can't make tough choices. They make the wrong choice every single time.

They literally are digging their own grave. Complete idiots.

He was close enough to the situation to know what was going on (if he wasn't directly involved)Can't blame this one on Jurich,UL can't make bad decisions fast enough,if Mc Donald's sold hamburgers this fast they'd be rich......oh wait they probably do.

The NCAA will slam UL. At best, it's going to be 3 years with heavy recruiting sanctions and no postseason for at least 2. Publicity will be devastating. New coach with no experience. Athletics department is a wreck. Any player who has the option to get out is leaving.
