Will Craig, the ACC POY last season for Wake Forest batted .167 (2-12) against Louisville in four games. His batting average went from .410 to .385
Irony - if we win the next 2, chances are we will have 3 12 game winners, lol.Is McClure now the first pitcher nationally to get to 12 wins?...
Jinxed it.Wake up on Clemson 4-1. If wake, Clemson and us finish in 3 way tie, we win the pool by virtue of a better regular season record. Cmon Deacons!!!
Yeah.. One difference. You jinxed the Cards and I jinxed Wake ForestJinxed it.![]()
The "correlation" is that typically your Friday night starter is your ace or No.1. Reason being is that once you get to post season tournaments is that allows your ace to pitch more than once and you can bring him back later. For whatever reason, there seems to be added pressure for the Friday night starter and usually why you want your senior in that role.Brendan hasn't consistently been his old self since Funk was "demoted" to Sundays. And Funk has performed better.
Interesting correlation, but I'm not alleging that one is affecting the other...
