LV came out hot taking a 10-2 lead ending the quarter 14-10. Second qtr Culpeper got it together and took a 35-23 lead with several turnover baskets. At the Half its Culpeper 35-29. LV comes out of the half with a press of its own and rattles Culpeper getting easy layups off turnovers. Culpeper hung in there trading baskets until the 4th qtr when LV took a 68-62 lead. Culpeper fed off its loud gym and stormed back 69-72 but it was all too late. With 14 seconds left Culpeper went for 3 and missed LV then pulled out the win. If I'm not mistaken LV only missed 2 free throws all night. Culpeper's big man was in foul trouble from the first whistle. Culpeper lived by the 3 all season and they died by the 3 tonight!!
Again Culpeper plays a soft schedule and is defeated again in the first round when they could have easily beat LV but 20. Good Luck LV with George Wythe.
