The school board needs investigated ASAP. A local govt board shouldnt be allowed to harass the taxpayers like they were online.
Nope. Hopefully, the Loudoun County residents are unwoking! I live in western Virginia and our city/County school boards are elected.I suspect Loudoun County is the same, sooo somebody voted those bozos onto the board! They need to investigate recalling them.

As you can tell, the police are not your friends. They are lackeys that do what they are told. This blind faith mantra of “back the blue” needs to end.
There is a recall effort taking place. The board has done things which come close to harassment.
They follow orders from politicians you vote for. Like I have said numerous times. Elect better Sherriffs that represent your values and follow the Constitution. Same goes with mayors who appoint Chiefs of Police.

I addressed this above. Those Deputies probably have a wife, kids. and a mortgage. They most likely make 40 thousand a year if they are lucky. Just like the military they have a chain of command and they follow orders. This shouldn't deter people from showing up and speaking their mind. Just follow the guidance they give you and keep your cool. If you don't like the guidance get a new Sherriff or Mayor.

Are they truly following the oath they take? If they don’t protect and serve the people, then why should I care if they lose their job. If they don’t like their jobs at that precinct, resign and find a different job or move to a different area and apply. It starts with the top leadership but everyone has a choice to make. And they were more aggressive in that clip than anyone was with George Floyd.
It's their property and responsibility. The Sherriff's Office needs a complaint to act. Meaning the Superintendent had to make the complaint.
If you are the Superintendent of schools in a county, you have to be able to handle some heat instead of trying to just sweep all comments under the rug. Hopefully the citizens wake up and see what power they actually hold.

Amazon donated hundreds of copies of a book by critical race theorist Ibram X. Kendi to an Arlington, Virginia, high school, and paid the book’s co-author to address the students and teachers, according to recently uncovered emails between the company and school district officials.
The emails, obtained by watchdog group Parents Defending Education (PDE) via public records requests, show a public relations manager at Amazon Logistics in February reached out to Arlington Public Schools (APS), offering to make donations as part of the company’s “Black History Month” initiative aimed to promote products of black-owned businesses and works of black authors.
People are letting their feelings do the thinking. Once the Principal or Superintendent says meeting is over and its time to go they have the law on their side. Failure to comply is breaking the law. Answer is get a new Superintendent, School Board, and Sherriff if you think he isn't respecting your rights.

Understand and agree. Now that Harrisonburg City School Board is meeting in person, I am going to drop in on some meetings. Our son is long out of public schools, but this crap has to be stopped.
Attend your Sherriff's townhall also. If he doesn't have one scheduled get several of your friends to request they schedule one.
As long as he isn't controlled opposition I feel bad for him. I would have even bailed him out if he called. My points above are still true and have some wisdom in them. Ignore them at your own risk. It's how you end up in solitary confinement with the Jan 6 protesters. Go protest. Keep your emotions in check and don't take the bait.
