So sorry to hear that brother. Prayers for you and your family.
Prayers for all of us on here. Lost my dad in 96, I was young. My mom is in a nursing home, lost a brother in 2014. As we get older, death becomes a thing that comes to mind a lot more. We start thinking about our own mortality and reflect back on our lives. Regrets? I sure have a few. I’ve learned to keep a positive thought and remember the good times. Keeps me from going insane.
makes me appreciate the family I currently have. It comes full circle. It helps me understand where my parents were at this stage of their lives. I have led a blessed life. And I believe that when our time comes that there is a peace that comes over us. I watched my dad pass in his bed. I was scared for him, but right before he passed away, he opened his eyes, it looked like he saw something or somebody, he smiled, closed his eye and took two more breaths. His body was at peace. I thought to myself that if I could leave this world just like he did, I would be blessed.

God Bless

Sorry for your loss, but be thankful for the time you spent together. Mom died when I was 2 and my dad two weeks before my 7th birthday.

I’m so sorry about your dad.
I’m scared of everyday knowing my dads health is getting worse. If it wasn’t for him I would’ve never known the passion of Kentucky basketball. It’s a very special bond we have and I’m hoping for a title this season. God bless you with strength brother! You and your family will be in prayers tonight.
