I think I have officially lost interest in digesting any sort of press conference, or interview, related news from this football team. Everything they say is just complete BS at this point. Each week is a slight twist of the narrative with with the players and staff saying whatever they think will appease the media and fans, yet the same results each week. The soundbites coming out each week have been on repeat for 4 years now. It is painful to even read/listen to at this point. I get second hand embarrasment....so cringe.

I will still support the team and hope we win out. Will likely make it to one more game before the season is over, but as far as having any expectations or really caring at all....im totally tuned out and will let fate decide what happens with this program.

That is every press conference, at every program in American, no matter what their record is. I have no idea why some people get so caught up in them.

That’s fine but do you really have to start a post about your lost interest? Hell 90% of the fans are tired of the excuses same ole crap and the same percentage are dam tired of this coaching staff making blunder after blunder and loss after loss

I don't remember the last time I actually listened to a press conference. I don't know why anybody would. Frost or any coach for that matter isn't going to say anything profound.

I haven't watched the news regular or sports related for like 6 years. Haven’t regretted it yet..

Unless it's about conference realignment...those are interesting.

thank GOD we were great once upon a time.
the current regime at best may turn into a 500 club over a period of years, imo. player developement and game management severely lacking. recruiting is mirroring our program. hoping for things to just turnaround hasn't ever worked out well for me.

I understand what the OP means..

I read the story about the press conference, but had no desire to click or watch any of the videos.

In the beginning of the season, I would consume everything out there.. all vids, all stories, etc

They will prob win Saturday, and maybe they get lucky in one of the 3 after that.. but I'm not jacked about the team or anything the rest of the year.. unless they started playing a different QB.. but I suspect this will just continue for another year.

I’m somewhat ashamed to admit that the Minnesota game is the first husker game that I just didn’t bother to watch since at least the TiVo / live recording era. Had a wedding last weekend, checked the score Saturday evening and said not worth the pain.

I’m sure I missed a game here and there due to conflicts in the past when recordings weren’t available. But this is the first one since probably 2010? That I just said F it. Not worth watching.

The Riley PCs were worthwhile if for no other reason he started off with a fairly comprehensive injury report. Pelini's were downright painful and often embarrassing and cringeworthy. Callahan's were OK, but often got down into miniate like "we needed to block the 8 hole better on the wheel route." Solich's were similar to Frosts....blah blah blah where nothing was learned and I stopped listening to them just like I have Frost's. Osborne's were vanilla on the surface, but after years of sifting through Osborne-speak you could tell he was naming names of players (and coaches) who screwed up without naming names.

If you simply read and watched the press conferences and Nebraska media coverage, you'd think Frost just signed a 10 year extension and is preparing for his 4th straight winning season headed to the BIG championship game again.

You would never think they're an absurd losing staff.
