Lost a couple this past weekend, tagging onto Rulz' thread. Dr. J. Alexander Hair passed away recently, also. He was owner/operator of Nu-Era Farms just outside of Stillwater proper. Don't think it has been announced, but the 700+ acres the research facility occupied will be donated to OSU, per his will. I only met him a handful of times, but my wife loved him. She, more or less, ran the research operations the couple of years before we met. He treated her like his daughter. She helped him with his will just last year, that's how we know about the land donation.
The land will be a huge benefit to the university since that will free up a lot of the land west of Western for future campus expansion.
