Man this board never fails to absolutely lose its **** after a loss lol. I’m not glossing over it. It was a bad loss and I was pissed too. But holy hell y’all. Somewhere on YouTube there’s a video of all of you screaming at the tv before breaking it with a beer bottle.
We have likely lost our double bye in the sec tourney. This is huge.

Nope got to protect NBA future
or maybe the team going forward. We have two tournaments to play and as a practical matter this game, while we wanted to win, isn't as important as letting a kid get hurt worse and not being able to play in the tournaments. Everyone's hate for Cal is clouding their judgment on how you should treat an injury, whether Wallace or Wheeler.

Thiero is not ready to play point guard in the SEC. Unfortunately Reeves is either red hot or ice cold. Made some costly errors late in game. Got a good look for last shot and didn't draw iron.

Missed 10 fts, shot 32%, and 15% from 3. That was the difference. And vandy threw in some absolute nonsense that went in a few times which wasn't helpful
When you are relaxed you can hit shots that seem like nonsense because it is like you are on the playground.

I thought playing through Oscar was the reason you hate calls offense?
You’re nuts. I’ve never made any statement like that. This is the value of a coach who can make in game adjustments. In this game we coulda killed them with Oscar. They had no match for him. Another game maybe another player but this one tonight needed to feed Oscar. Cals offense isn’t the problem. It’s his in game coaching. He doesn’t have assistants who can read the game or atleast he isn’t listening to them. Terrible coaching tonight but maybe good enough for Ohio st to throw a nice offer at cal

I second this guy who called all y’all out for losing your **** after each loss. Tonight’s game was one of the weirder games I think I have ever watched. Did UK stink it up? They sure did. That said, this game was so full of weirdness that it really shouldn’t be used to evaluate the season or the team at all. Reeves should never be the primary ball handler. I repeat, NEVER. So that part of it is on Cal. Toppin may be the best bet for ball handler in late game, clutch situations without Wallace, and obviously that’s an iffy at best idea. Still better than Reeves. I was totally disappointed by both Thiero’s and CJ’s attempts to run the point. I expected more from one or the other and both were terrible in that role. The ball still needed to be in the hands of anyone besides Reeves at the end. Reeves is one of the worst passers I’ve seen at the guard position; he’s as bad as James Young, if not worse, in that capacity. He’s not built to have to make a pass or shoot decision at crunch time.

All of that said, the teams tonight might as well have just played a game of horse to determine the winner. Would have saved a lot of people a lot of time. We missed our hero shots and Vandy made a couple. Tonight’s game came down to that…which weird *** lineup would grab the right rebound, get the right turnover, or hit the right, impossible shot at the right time. Wish they could go back and played the last two minutes with the ball in anyone else’s hands, but other than that, as long as Wallace can come back strong, this game needs to be shrugged off and forgotten.

Even before Wallace went down you could tell they were sleep walking through it like thet did at GA, except Oscar who tried to win it all himself and dam near did with little to no help. If you can't get up for Sr. Night in Rupp against a team rolling you have issues.
I didn't see one person sleep walking through it. The truth is they were playing hard guy... But no matter how hard you play, you have to make some shots or you fall behind.
That's exactly what happened

To me they had no energy, a lackadaisical effort and outside of Oscar no urgency. Toppin and Wallace seemed like whatever. I don't know what game you watched but without Oscar's effort down the stretch we would have lost by double digits. That's ridiculous at home against Vandy. The fight I had seen wasn't there last night and it reminded me a lot of at GA.

At 10 losses we are getting good at shrugging them off.

Of course it looked that way. When you miss all your shots and can't score fans notice something every trip down the court in which they wouldn't if you were making 45/50%. that's just the truth.

There was nothing lackadaisical about the way they played. They fought to get the game back and simply couldn't make shots. Vandy is just scrappy enough and a good enough team that you can't do that against

I heard Matt Jones today bash for not running through oscar.. They threw the ball in to Oscar every trip down the floor, he was doubled mostly and passed the ball back out...
He also said vandy played like st Peter's... With 5 guards. Do you know how many times I've heard everyone bash UK for running offense through Oscar in that game? Sometimes it's like everyone just wants to buy h n complain.
If you watch that game last night and not look to see if the shots went through the basket, it would have been a good appearance from the cats. Some won't be able to see that, I know,
We have got to make shots

There's another thread on here where supposedly Toppin admitted to pouting last night instead of playing hard because he got pulled even though he played 37 mins so not sure about all that.

We likely win the game if Wallace didn't get hurt. Still should won it anyway. Was up 2 with 1 minute left couldn't get a stop and did not get the ball to Oscar enough in the 2nd half down low especially with game tied with 25 seconds left.

Lol because a random fan that calls him jack topping half the time knows when someone isn't playing hard smh. Most players that care show some sort of facial expressions.
