Would you accept any excuses for losing to North Dakota?
Not saying it will happen, but if it did Frost has to be fired immediately right?

Lucky its not NDSU, they would lay a beatingThere is zero excuse to ever lose to an FCS team.
The honorable thing to do would be for him to resign.Would you accept any excuses for losing to North Dakota?

I don't care how much honor a person has, it should never be exceeded by stupidiity. The honorable thing to do would be for him to resign.
blockhead trev alberts agreesI don't care how much honor a person has, it should never be exceeded by stupidiity.
There is no level of honor possible or even conceivable that could ever overcome the monumental stupidity of voluntarily surrrendering seven million dollars over the outcome of a meanngless football game.
How many resignations do you ever see in coaching. Name 3…. And they can’t be because of a scandalThe honorable thing to do would be for him to resign.
Lol a revolution? Would the fans storm the field and send Frost to the guillotine? There will be revolution if this happens. I doubt it will happen but one never knows these days.
kurt ferantz can feel this real deepLucky its not NDSU, they would lay a beating
That's why the NW loss hurts. We went through this discussion last year with Fordham and Buffalo. Nebraska will win by 4 TDs or more, then go back to losing in baffling ways once they resume playing P5 teams. Ho hum.
Let that be a lesson to all, no one beats Scott Frost 8 times in a row.A win Saturday would be the end of a 7 game losing streak.
yep. That's why the NW loss hurts.
Can't eve enjoy those wins because that loss made these next 2 games meaningless.
YesLol a revolution? Would the fans storm the field and send Frost to the guillotine?
From 1973 to 2008, they played in the NCAA's NCAA Division II, winning the National Championship in 2001JRich, how many national titles does North Dakota have? Answer me that
Went by the bank and they said I can’t deposit transcripts from a message board. Tried to talk me into a safety deposit box but I’m no dummy.pointless question, not gonna happen take it to the bank
well you should reconsider that safety deposit box because my predictions are worth there weight in gold!Went by the bank and they said I can’t deposit transcripts from a message board. Tried to talk me into a safety deposit box but I’m no dummy.
No one wants to play the Bison.kurt ferantz can feel this real deep

6 wins isn’t good enough we can’t keep Coach that can’t beat Minnesota, Wisconsin and Ioway and is 1-12…We will not lose this game or the next. Period. End of discussion. We will then lose to OU and be 2-2. The entire season and Frost's entire future will then hinge on him beating BOTH Indiana and Rutgers and getting us to 4-2. If we lose to either of those teams I think Frost's future will be set in stone and he will be fired in October or November. But if we can get to 4-2 then Lordy, Lordy, will the Purdue game be huge. Beat Purdue and we will be 5-2 and with more momentum than Frost has ever had here which might just propel the team to a winning season and save Frost's ***. Do I see that happening? No. I think we will get to 4-2, but will lose to Purdue and then bounce back and beat Illinois to go 5-3. I think he gets fired at the end of the season after losing to Minny, Michigan, Wisky, and Iowa, costing us a bowl appearance and a winning season.
I agree. If our defense improves we could probably squeeze out a six win season, assuming that the wheels just don’t come off at some point, which could darn well happen. I sure as hell hope that Alberts won’t use six wins and a bowl bid as a reason to keep Frost around.6 wins isn’t good enough we can’t keep Coach that can’t beat Minnesota, Wisconsin and Ioway and is 1-12…
Especially with the schedule this year…Nebraska should be 5-1 going into West Lafayette but more likely 4-2..I agree. Oh Iowa fans you’re such cute little brothers always around nipping at our heals before your program has even played a game. I always enjoy watching you while Iowa is fraudulently ranked high early in the season after playing cupcakes and inevitably crashing when they finally play a team with a pulse. Go Hawkkks……Let that be a lesson to all, no one beats Scott Frost 8 times in a row.
I don’t know about 7, Frost can coach his team down to any level of competition. The schedule is terrible this year … there is a possibility that we still get to 7 wins and Frost is retained … would be terrible for the future of the program and the kids in it if Frost is the coach in 2023
He is going to have to beat some teams he hasn’t beaten within those 7 wins for the majority of us wanting him back…The schedule is terrible this year … there is a possibility that we still get to 7 wins and Frost is retained … would be terrible for the future of the program and the kids in it if Frost is the coach in 2023
I only speak for myself. It needs to look like this for me to even want to entertain keeping Frost:He is going to have to beat some teams he hasn’t beaten within those 7 wins for the majority of us wanting him back…
I agree with everything you just said, and I share your concerns. But... let's you and I take a deep breath, look in the mirror, and ask ourselves - do we REALLY think Scott Frost can get this team to 6-7 wins? Not being sarcastic, that level of success would be a giant leap of competence for a coach that has shown not-one-single-sign of basic coaching competence in 4+ years. After last Saturday it seems pretty likely that Scott Frost is gonna be Scott Frost.Iowa - Minnesota - Purdue - Illinois - Indiana - Rutgers are all crap and Wisconsin is down
I hope for the kids that we win 7+ games AND Scott Frost is removed
we are playing with fire - no one would have lifted a voice if he had been fired after going 3-9. Now with the terrible schedule there is a chance for 6-7 wins resulting in him being retained and doing further damage to the program or if he is fired the Frosties squawking about how he was turning it around and should have been retained
I am rooting for the maximum number of wins that still results in him being relieved of his duties
