Game thread is an absolute joke. Page 8 alone is a disgrace.

Saying our team has IQ of someone on the spectrum.

Calling out individual players saying they suck, personal attacks and trying to run them out of town.

GET A LIFE AND THE HELL OFF THE BOARD!

Oh by the way we won a road game by double digits you effing losers!

I was toxic but considering the Penn State game and rhe crazy lineup combos in the first half criticism was justified.
But it was the best half on the road in rhe Pikell era.

People aren't allowed to be frustrated? Shut the hell up snowflake

Being frustrated and personally attacking 18-22 year old kids are two different things. I didn’t call you out by name but you were one of the worst. Saying the team IQ is that of someone on the spectrum. Maybe you should take a step back and re-evaluate. Something you’d never say to a player or coaches face in a million years.

No one should ever criticize anything related to a game thread. It’s a place to vent, share the emotion, good and bad, with other lunatics (I say in a good way). Anyone that doesn’t understand that is lost. And those threads have a shelf life and they’re gone.

First half play was largely a train wreck. Low energy, not valuing the basketball. Of course the commentary (which I didn't read) would be harsh.

Second half went up SEVERAL levels, hustle was high, and Harper got hot too.

Mulcahy was awful in the first half but a major factor in the comeback in the 2nd half. He would say as much, I bet.

Beat Iowa!

I was wrong, but I was frustrated of seeing awful basketball. I am happy they turned things around.

Lol yet all those posters were in the game thread praising the team as they came back

So whats the point of this thread
Not true. Game threads are a joke, as are the posters. I checked in at halftime, read a page or two of totally predictable posts, and again after the game. Some posters are absolutely clueless.

Look forward to another of your 2,000 word postgame manifestos…that I will not read.

I do agree personally attacking young males it irresponsible and immature
I don’t know about you guys, but cursing at the TV, texting with buddies about not being able to watch.
Followed by exhilaration is wonderful
it’s what makes basketball great. Every fan base does it.

If you know what it’s going to say and don’t like it, why do you subject yourself to reading it? Makes me think you will actually read the manifesto as well.

The funniest thing ever in Game Threads are the responses runs. Basketball has always been a game of runs. To this very day posters on game threads act like a run by an opponent is the end of the world.
To be fair they also act like any run we go on will continue indefinitely.

The first half in conjunction with the PSU warranted a lot of the maybe over exaggerated commentary.
Second half was a thing of beauty. Massive turn arounds and Ron having an NBA showing.

onto the next one ncaa hopes r alive with some luck and wins.

Generally agree, within reason - there were a few posts that probably crossed the line, but who hasn't sat there watching a game on TV or in person where we're tanking and not gotten angry and tossed a few cuss words and insults out and maybe broken a TV remote or two (or about 7, in my case, lol). I don't think game threads should be mined for negativity to make examples of people - what I despise, though, are actual threads started that are very mean-spirited about players or coaches or the team.
