Yep.... that's the year Marshall gave up. At least Norfolk State had the balls to finish.

We played LSU that year, and we completely smashed Clemson. We didn't choose a lesser bowl opponent. We played serious competition, and ran it out of town.

Marshall is playing Norfolk State to compliment its array of nobodies.
