Looks like the SEC West in baseball

[tired]

Is like football. Toughest division in the country, this year anyway. Fortunately we are one of the big boys in baseball.

I say it’s tougher than in football.

One of my Bama friends was lamenting the other day about how bad their baseball program is, and said it is so hard to compete in the SEC West. I said, “Now you know what it’s like to be a State football fan.”

This is a great illustration of what a meat grinder the west has always been in baseball. Even though Bama is down now, you can make a good argument that they were the 2nd best program in the SEC behind LSU in the 90's.

Except we're more competitive in football than they are in baseball.
