Looks like Clarke practiced today

I personally don't care. All I want is UK to win the SECT and get in the dance. Not likely, but that's all I care about. If UK has to play Welch to do that, then so be it.

The tourney without UK in it is not acceptable.

Exactly. The bottom line when it comes to Clarke or Boston or Askew or Allen is I just want the best possible team out there to give us a shot at winning the SEC tournament and getting us into the tournament. If that's with Clarke then hell yes play him. We lose and we are done. The season is over. As bad as this season has been, I still want to see them play. Play the best lineup and hope for the the best.

It took having two guys hit six threes for the first time since the 80’s to dominate a 6 win team. Let’s not act like we’re some juggernaut after one win lol. Clarke is fresh legs and 5 fouls, if nothing else. And we’re gunna need both of those to win 4 in 4 days. Bring him off the bench for a few minutes and see what happens. The game may come easier for him now cause there’s no pressure to produce, just go play. Why not??

Clarke’s averages also took a bit of a hit with a 7 game sample size because of the 0-fer at Louisville in a game he shouldn’t have played in. At worst, he would give us another option that can be a secondary handler and drive past his man, but he would need to buy in to whatever we do have at this point and not play hero ball.

I never said Cal shouod be fired. I've said "I'm done with him", meaning, I won't support his system or culture, but I didn't say he should be fired.

Fir someone who has trashed the team a lot this year, you have done a lot of calling out in the direction of those that are doing the same.

So, let me get this straight, you can trash the team and that's cool, but anyone that trashes Calipari is wrong? So your opinion is the only one that matters? You get to decide who should get trashed? It's okay to trash players that aren't making a dime, but you think it's messed up to go after the guy in charge that is making 1 million dollars per win?

You're trying to join the JFCats22 team huh?
This is getting pretty nit picky. You’re going to some great lengths to take up for askew. I mean have you even been reading the board lately? It was pretty mild man. On your point about the players not making a dime........that’s not true at all in my eyes. These kids are receiving a free education that’s worth about 30k a year. My kids aren’t going for free, are yours? That’s a point that gets overlooked so much.

I think that point gets used TOO much. These kids are making the university a LOT of money. $30k is chump change when compared to the amount of revenue that is being made because they're on the court. Comparing your kids or my kids to those kids when it comes to making the university money is like apples/oranges.

Oh the university is getting a great return. But don’t act like these kids are playing for free. In my book a free education with luxury college accommodations at the lodge and a personal team chef is quite the payday. I recognize their hard work and I applaud it but I do NOT feel sorry for them.

If Clarke can play, Cal should go for it. If we are lucky enough to play several games this week, each game will give him another chance to blend in. It can make our team stronger and help give us more of a chance to squeak through the tournament.
It seems to me that the group that does not want Clarke to play, and they give various reasons why , is made up of "many" of the same posters that have been posting about his fake injury and, that he is opting out. If he plays , it will once again prove them wrong, dead wrong. They have had to go through the Brooks "my bad" and are now concerned about being wrong again. jmo

The odds of TC being a difference maker are extremely long. Whose minutes would he take?

Don’t see Cal playing him

Lol I wasn't comparing Clarke to MJ, I was making the point that praising one person isn't trashing another.
No I get it, I wasn't saying you compared Clarke to MJ. I was saying the 2 situations aren't a fair comparison

3 weird paragraphs of ****. Every time I share an opinion, some fire Cal tard comes out with his agenda. You all make the fan base look stupid every year. Let’s see your post start changing and opinions if we win the SEC tournament.
I'm a UK fan, not a Cal fan. I cheer the team every game.

But don't act like you're captain innocent here, most of your posts anymore are sarcastic comments about those that don't share your opinions.

Do us all a favor and give us a list of the people it's okay to talk negatively about. Your approval is paramount. Let us know what we are allowed to say, oh great one.

Taking up for Askew? No, I'm simply calling a spade, a spade.

Fine, Askew is on scholarship, do you really want to compare the fact that his family doesn't pay tuition, to a guy that is earning $26,000.00 a day?

Lukasorbzut is all over people that are critical of Cal, a guy making 9 mill a year, but it's, in his opinion, okay to crack on Askew for sucking?

Again, it's not about defending Askew, it's about Lukasorbzute's hypocrisy.

I get your argument but the guy really wasn't ragging on Askew...

It sucks for a lot of you so called fans to even acknowledge anything good that may happen to the team. Your lives must lives must really suck to bash everything good that tries to polk through. I really feel sorry for some of you here. The others are entertaining to read as they expose their lack of basketball knowledge and think they are making a point as us sane fans are rolling are eyes.

He said "I'd take an injured Clarke over Askew". That's far from a compliment to Askew. Close enough to a backhanded slap in the face. He deserves to get called out on when he acts like a hall monitor to everyone else.

You could just be happy for the kid, who was probably dying to get back on the court.
What!? No way! Be happy that a freshman came back from a lengthy injury?? Don’t you know that he’s a failure and opted out and already has his bags packed?!
Crazy the atmosphere our coach has created around here.

Do you still detest Boston? Feels like you’re calling people to the principals office left and right. But there’s some hypocrisy here.

Also I’m not comparing scholarship players to Cal. You injected that into the discussion. You mentioned earlier the players don’t get a dime and I just don’t see it that way.

What we have here is a person (you) that jumped into the middle of a conversation, but doesn't understand what the conversation was about.

I've never gone around this board from thread to thread dropping sarcastic comments about people being negative. He has, he does it every day. When you do that, you really should reap what you sow. You damn sure shouldn't make comments about an injured player being better than a fully healthy player, when you're making comments about people being negative.

As far as the Calipari v Askew discussion. Again, you have it wrong. I'm not defending Askew, what I am saying is, don't run around calling others out for ragging on the coach, who makes $9 million a year and can take it, but then turn around and backhand a player the way he did.

So again, you went and intervened into a conversation and tried to tell me I was wrong, but you totally misunderstood what the conversation was about.

This is the last comment I will make on this, I'm not going to sit here and go back and forth on this with a guy that is lost.

What’s up with the helicopter in the dump where the garbage people live? And why are they talking like Kevin from The Office when he starting subtracting 50% of the words he would normally use? Is this TWD’s Jump The Shark moment, or was it when the Tiger made its first appearance?

No spoilers please, I’ve only watched through season nine episode 15. Just curious.

Also, we will win SEC tourney ........ Go Cats!

It would seem any other team - other than the supposed best fans in college basketball- would be happy to get one of their good young guys back in the lineup to add depth.

I’m hopeful if he has healed up and wants to go. He certainly could sit it out. Team Clarke!

Unless we are up big or down big he needs to stay on the bench. Would mess up chemistry. We are what we are and starting him is not going to change that.

Chemistry lol, we literally just changed our PG and Toppin is now starting. Cal also completely scrapped the whole 7 man rotation a game ago, pretty sure it won’t mess up the worst UK team in our lifetime if he plays. As far as I’m concede can have all of Askew’s minutes.
