If in fact he is allowed to play, a true fan would be ecstatic and welcome him back. People getting upset that he has come back from an injury and might be able to contribute are showing their true agendas. Winning 4 games in 4 days will take all the bodies we can use. I know it sucks for some of you who are drama queens and love seeing UK suffer but if true thay he can play, this is all but good news.
It would go against their theory of him opting out.

No. Cal needs to worry about his future. Don't play him a second. Make sure he is good and healed for pro day. Now you whiners do what you do best and start your whining and pearl clutching

Hold up Terrence, I’ve only got 5 more weeks until I can put pressure on my ankle. I’m good for five fouls and a half court heave.

What? Why? I really dont think it's a good idea to put Clarke into this lineup as we're JUST starting to get things figured out. I don't need to see him put up 12 shots, make 2, and watch us lose, as he tries to show out for scouts. At this point, hang it up.
we win one game by blowing out a terrible usc jr team and you think that we have started to figure things out?

I think it’s comical and sad at the same time that some think the team has developed continuity that a player like Clarke could disrupt.
We beat SC wooohooo!!!!

If his injury was just that, an injury that took most of the season to heal, how do you inject him into the lineup at this point without disrupting what continuity the team has built up? Seriously, unless we win the SEC Tournament, our season is over. Why even care at this point if you are the coach?
It is not quitting as some call it, but more of facing reality and moving on to next season.

Its quitting. Pure and simple. Fat lady hasn’t sung.

I expected you to say that since that has been your negative agenda. I wonder why he was wearing a boot to his classes and on the bench until a couple of games ago. To not play? I know you hope he doesn't play to further your agenda but to to say someone does not want to play when he tried to play while injured shows what kind of person you are to think otherwise.

He was actually our second leading scorer before he went down. He actually brings a lot. It sucks it goes against your agenda but thats the way it works sometimes

I, for one, am thankful he may have a shot to play. This is it. Our final gasp at saving this season. Let's go out guns ablazing. Leave it all out there on the floor. Will just be interesting to see how he will be mixed in. Will we still go with Mintz at PG for the bulk of the minutes? Will we sub Clarke in at PG when Mintz needs a breather instead of going with Askew?

To an extent, absolutely. We never just go from 0 to 100.. there's several hurdles we pass along the way. I think we crossed another one, not just because we beat USC by 30, but also because it seems Mintz will be our starter for the rest of the way.

I wouldn't read much into that.Dykes said he would only play if UK made a deep run and Cal usually gives him info.

It obviously upsets your agenda for UK to be bad so that is a given but getting a 11 point scorer back is never a bad thing. Nice try though...keep trying, we find it amusing

Lol. A 39% shooter than was a turn over machine. No agenda. But no way his coming back helps. Not that he is anyways. But if you think that guy coming back is going to help us win 4 games in 4 days, then you need to check your agenda. And who is we lol? You and your Cal pumpers? I’ll take what we have now and roll with it for better or worse.

Cause we need a higher ceiling. You act like we’re 30-2 with a 1 seed locked up. Said differently, play it safe then. Bench a mega talent, lose in a game or two, and say, “at least we didn’t let Clarke derail a good thing we had going.” I mean, darn, this is a no brainer peoples!

But what did he show to make you think he’s a “mega talent?” It’s not like Zion sitting out and deciding to come back. He was terrible.

He wasn't terrible. If you think he's not one of the best 8 players on the team, all I can say is I'm glad you're not the coach...Hopefully, he has absorbed some of the lessons his young teammates (Boston, Jackson) have learned despite not being on the court.

Are you talking about the same Clarke that we saw play early in the season?
He wasn't a mega talent then, and he's going to be even less of one after not practicing for multiple months.
I mean, who is he going to take minutes from? Boston, Mintz, Allen? He's a sub for another player with foul trouble at this point.

Clarke can take Askew's minutes off the bench and I'll have no issue with that.

He's not a PG, and he's even more careless with the ball than Askew, if that can be believed. Unless they are going to move Mintz to the pg, and Clarke to his spot.

Move MIntz to PG and Clarke can take his spot.

I think we are better with Mintz at PG to begin with.

Tho it would be interesting to see how Clarke blends with this team being off the court for so long.
