I haven't been following it closely but I assumed he'd get a lot more than that. I guess sentencing guidelines vary by state.

I've condemned his actions. However he should have never been charged with murder. He in no way got a "fair" trial. This was nothing more than political mob justice. Manslaughter would have been a stretch in a sane world.

If they put him in general population then whoever orders that needs to be held accountable. That would be a death sentence.
