Nate Oates, Alabamas AD, and the president of the University wouldn’t sit Miller out, but San Diego State sit his a— out. So their final four aspirations will have to wait again. Just like all of their past failures when they were loaded with talent.
I am glad they are out of the tourney with the attitude their administration and coach displayed after the tragedy. But they beat us, won the SEC tournament, and won 2 more games than we did in the NCAA tournament. Pretty good for a football school.
I heard one of his idiots call and say Alabama was the new Kentucky. Finebaum was laughing and in full agreement. Guess not, after all.
They only won one more tourny game than UK. Decent season, but 6 losses in a down year for college basketball with no dominant teams. They won't get a better chance.

I don’t like their style of play and have posted all year that I don’t want him at UK, but there are a lot of Oates’ backers on this forum and I think they will be fairly good for the foreseeable future.

yeah...I get it. They were definitely the better team this year. Just saying in a normal year the overall 1 seed wouldn't have 5 losses. Not sure that's ever happened.

As sad as this sounds, after this tournament, we may look back and say Kentucky had the best performance from an SEC team. Because we almost beat either the runner up or the champion.

Miller picked a heck of a time to go ice cold. Perhaps the groin injury was a big part of it. His last 4 games he was abysmal. 13 of 61 including 6 for 28 from 3. Of course after 4 months or so just about everyone has some minor ache or pain to deal with.
Regardless, they wouldn't be rooting for us so why would I ever root for them unless they are playing Duke or UNC. Too bad so sad.
