Equality. Now tell us how you’ll never watch again lol (somebody will go there).
Then the composition of the team needs to reflect the composition of the country.....if they're serious about equality. Can someone with better eyes than I have tell me besides the Nike Swoosh and the SEC logo what that other rectangular logo is on the jerseys?
Not arguing over anything. Just asked a simple question.Lol arguing over this? ded
I have been watching for 56 years....gonna keep watching..how many years you been watching drainthattub?
I will say that I would prefer that that was not on the uniform but I now know that some which probably means all SEC schools will have that logo. Interesting that the SEC did not make political statements on football jerseys.
Maybe people are just getting a little tired of being told not to see race, gender, or sexual orientation, but still get it crammed down our throats every min of the day if we don't see it. It's a mixed message. The fact that people still feel that equality is a “political statement” shows just how far we still have to go...
Society “how dare you see gender!!”Maybe people are just getting a little tired of being told not to see race, gender, or sexual orientation, but still get it crammed down our throats every min of the day if we don't see it. It's a mixed message.
The players are getting a "scholarship" ride at UK valued probably between 25-45k. All because these guys cannot hit a three but are overall athletic. The fact that people still feel that equality is a “political statement” shows just how far we still have to go...
to be fair, they didn’t choose the logo all colleges are doing this, this year. The players are getting a "scholarship" ride at UK valued probably between 25-45k. All because these guys cannot hit a three but are overall athletic.
That's pretty equal IMHO when I will have to pay for my kid's education.
IF they want to make a political statement do so on their social media.....not on UK's uniform.
Try $150k/yr, minimum. A UK basketball scholarship is worth at least that much when you add up everything that comes with it.The players are getting a "scholarship" ride at UK valued probably between 25-45k. All because these guys cannot hit a three but are overall athletic.

I was thinking about those who are there for only a year.Try $150k/yr, minimum. A UK basketball scholarship is worth at least that much when you add up everything that comes with it.
$150k per year is what I said. Honestly that's probably low, especially if you monetize the exposure and built-in lifelong fanbase if you handle yourself properly.I was thinking about those who are there for only a year.
Is it mandatory?to be fair, they didn’t choose the logo all colleges are doing this, this year.
Encourages.....yeah...I've seen the cancel culture too much in history if you don't comply....er...volunteer.the ncaa “encourages” it so
The beatings will continue until morale improves.Encourages.....yeah...I've seen the cancel culture too much in history if you don't comply....er...volunteer.
No one says not to see those things. what is being said is not to discriminate because of those things.Maybe people are just getting a little tired of being told not to see race, gender, or sexual orientation, but still get it crammed down our throats every min of the day if we don't see it. It's a mixed message.

LOL.....I can only imagine the reactions if there was:And we’ve found one lol. Surely the Miss Black America Pageant probably really drives you insane. I shudder to hear the rest of your backwards attempts at social commentary.
bro.....you make a lot of false assumptions about people....and history. The only people who feel like it’s “crammed down their throats” are the people that don’t like it. You feel that way because every time you see it, it makes you mad. You feel that true equality would make your life worse. Someone like me who is pro-equality, knows that if the message isn’t spread, it makes it easier for politicians and law enforcement to commit their atrocities. We know damn well that what y’all want, is for “us” to be quiet, you’ve made it abundantly clear.
It was the same thing during the Civil Rights movement in the 50’s and 60’s. The message was “crammed down people’s throats.” Because that’s what it took. Change is difficult, because so many are resistant to it.

but you probably voted for the party that was for the enslavement of blacks, opposed the Civil Rights legislation, had a member of the Senate who was a Grand Wizard in the Klan, etc, etc.
You're veiled accusations are crystal clear. You don't know me, man. Seems like every single one of your posts are about race. The only people who feel like it’s “crammed down their throats” are the people that don’t like it. Obviously my comment wasn't BS. Other people agreed. I won't humor you with a veiled accusation. I'll just give you a fact; there's a term for people that define others by their skin color. Maybe it's not me that needs a long look in the mirror. You’re just mad that someone called you on your ********

Whatever man, I've said my peace. Good luck with that life mentality.Who was I defining by skin color? Lol hope you stretched before you made that leap. Just because people agree with you doesn’t mean you’re right. There were thousands of people who agreed with Hitler.
Whatever man, I've said my peace. Good luck with that life mentality.
Fine. And this will be my last response to this. Every post you make is about race. So, yes, you spend your life defining people by their skin color. Good night. Not surprised you couldn’t answer my question douchebag.

I see you've lost the argument.Lol so in one post you refute my claim that people were resistant to the civil rights movement, and in the same post you say that Dems opposed the civil rights movement. Holy ****, you might be the the most *** ignorant mother****er on this board.
