In my opinion, every major city in American has lots of "opportunistic" criminals as citizens. (Small cities too.)

And . . . whenever unrest breaks out, these criminals are looking for stuff to steal and/or burn.

These criminals hide among those people at the protests whom are completely non-violent and are there simply to voice their opinions.


Protests at night in an urban setting???? You can be GUARANTEED that the local criminals will take advantage of the situation. This is an inherent part of large protests . . . especially at night under the cover of darkness.

Looking at a sports forum as arbiters of justice is your first problem. I'm not a mod, nor do I care about their stances. This is a mostly open forum. Things do get out of hand, but they give everyone plenty of leash. This is a prime example of why they usually don't allow politics. Making any sort of decision gives you a label.
