Eh, not that big of a deal, I don't think. It's hardly the first time he's tweeted or talked about his support for Trump. I don't agree with him politically, but it doesn't bother me for him to be somewhat vocal about his views.

For better (dad memes) or worse (drunk political posts at 3 am—regardless of affiliation), we knew this is what you sign up for with Leach. He’s not the typical CEO head coach.

More than anything, just a reminder to #nevertweet.

Yeah, you have to take the bad with the good.

As long as he makes our football team better, i can ignore his political ravings.

Most interesting part to me is that Leach is saying this as someone who is/(was?) Mormon. Romney is a king in those parts.

Yeah, I'm trying to figure that out as well. Not that it really matters.

He’s a big Trump supporter and this is an election year. Expect more of this. He’s entitled to his opinion, just like he’d be entitled to it if he was trashing Trump rather than Romney.

Keep in mind that while some do not agree with his stance, many in Mississippi do and will view this as even more reason to like him.

This ain’t your average football coach. He’s going to do his own thing and say whatever he feels like saying, so brace for that if you haven’t already.

No worse than this one. As long as they win, who cares.

I half want to read up on why Leach likes Trump so much he is compelled to tweet 4 or 5 times in the middle of the night. He is mean, hypocritical, and has outright lied so much it isnt even worth fact checking what he says anymore. His actions are in part making it socially acceptable to be disrespectful and inappropriate without consequence.

I probably wont though, because it will most likely make me sad.

75% of our fan base is going to lose their mind

After our first loss this year and Leach tweets a meme about baby goats the next day.

I hope I'm wrong, but its going to rival Mullen wearing shorts and losing to USA type of melt down on twitter.

How are you not banned for literally the worse post in six pack history

Lots of little snowflakes around here. Know what they say little minds llittle.... Give it up already. The post you are referring to actually happened but I am not going to keep rehashing unlike yourself. I understand now the kid always has done that and it is part of who he is. I’m good. You good or still salty?

You just described every politician and please don't act like you didn't.

I was expecting worse. Leach makes a comment, he gets lots of reactions and troll comments and he really doesn't respond to them. I think he asks a question and legitimately wants to know the answer to the question in this case why folks back Romney.

As opposed to the ones who don't? Give me a break! If you're in politics your job is based on lies, small ones, big ones, to your staff, to your family, to your constituents. That's why people like Trump...he's screwing up the current political system and its pissing off everyone in the game.

Please tell me there isn't going to have to be a counseling session for half the board everytime Leach makes a political tweet. He is a Republican. He has never hid that fact (and why would he?) and our AD hired him. It's going to be ok.

Yes, Pelosi ripping up the State of the Union speech right there in front of everyone was certainly very respectful and appropriate. And I’m sure she’ll face major backlash. Give me a break. I’m not a big Trump fan, but the constant pearl clutching by some people at the mere mention of his name is over the top and quite funny.

I’ll never understand why people care so much if someone disagrees with you. It does not matter if you’re left or right, you’re not 100% right or 100% wrong. The world functions well when a group of people who disagree with each other solve problems.
