There are strong rumors started to leak out that someone on NC States team now has Covid and there might be a couple more players on the team with it

Edit: Brandon and the Pick Central show is now starting to say it also

That’s great because Vandy really needed to catch a break and get a little advantage. It seems like they never have anything go their way.

Well how bout we just contact-trace them right out of the tournament and let Vandy start Rocker and Leiter on Monday and Tuesday on 6+ days rest!!!!

I’m not seeing anything yet from KP, KRogers, D1 baseball or anyone else at this time. Hopefully some very bad rumor.

The fact that they are still testing speaks volumes as to why the NCAA needs

to be completely abolished. Keeping kids from playing in a game they've dreamed about their whole life over testing positive for a virus with a 99.8% cure rate and massive vaccinations is complete and total ********. Worked their *** off all season and their whole careers to get to this moment then this. 17 the NCAA to hell and back. Keep in mind, 20,000 spectators can walk in and sit shoulder to shoulder yet the players, the reason for the game, are the ones to be singled out.

(Edit to add... If the rumors are true. But actually 17 the NCAA either way)

RUMOR is that their starting 2nd baseman tested positive. Their stud closer Justice and starting pitcher Highfill who shut down Vandy are under protocol.

First it would absolutely suck for the guys who put in all that work to have to miss CWS games while their team is playing for a championship. Just truly terrible for them.

But if NC State can get by Vandy and those kids are still out next week… It sets up really well for us.

Depends if they're vaccinated. Terrible and heartbreaking if they did their part to be responsible and still caught it anyway. If, however, they selfishly let the team down by refusing vaccination, they're getting what they deserve and the coach is an idiot for putting them on the CWS roster, knowing the rules about testing.

I want to say there are four locker rooms in that stadium so we don’t have to share that. Dugout is certainly something to monitor.

The MS State thing would be with us one win from the natty with the other team completely out of pitching and the coaching staff with the stomach flu and it gets shut down.

I would start preparing for this outcome.

The NCAA is not capable of thinking on their feet to do something like Vandy vs TX. Vandy will stroll into the CWS finals with a 2-1 record and all of their pitching in tact, and we'll probably have to play TX twice and burn Bednar.

17 that. They both have a loss…and should be 2 wins away from the title series. Make them play a best of 3, then winner gets us in a best of 3 starting Wed or Thurs.

I’m hoping for a Vandy / NCSU double header tomorrow.

If Vandy advances without having to throw Rocker or Leiter - that’ll be the most dead Indians **** ever.
