don't think it really violates anything as he doesn't have anything msu related on his twitter account that would imply that he is making that stand as a university employee for the university. I agree it's annoying when someone i follow for msu sports related stuff posts political stuff, but unless it's like a professional business twitter account then i think it would be against university policy. I don't really care one way or the other as everyone is entitle to their opinion. I have unfollowed several people from both sides because I get sick of it. that's all some people know how to post it seems like. I don't post anything political to my accounts.

I've wonder what the policies are on this for university employees since i've seen several university employees not just msu post political type stuff.

I’m just going to point out to everyone here that the only reason people are complaining about these tweets is his viewpoint. If you follow any amount of MSU accounts, there are volumes of conservative posts. You probably just don’t notice them because they jive with your particular world view.

I’m not saying that you should subject yourself to his thoughts, but don’t think he is unique in expressing them.
