If Wallace doesn't accept the explanation given in the FBI statement, he is a complete dumbass and deserves criticism.

He's given Twitter too much rope. (Rope, get it?)

They'll find his dumbass car in a stall in any garage with the same damn loop, give them time.

This was simply a marketing tool drawn up by NASCAR to help revive something already on life support by trying to get a new demographic and changing its image of a white, southern sport.

20 years ago, it was pretty difficult to get tickets. They sold out quickly and the tracks, some of which held over 100,000 people, were always filled. Ten years ago, pretty much still the same.

Now? Tracks half-filled if that. The rivalry between Chevy and Ford? Gone. No Earnhardt versus Wallace versus Gordon. The personalities are gone as are the rivalries. Now, its just people you don't know and don't care to driving left for 3 hours driving for a trophy in a points system nobody seems to understand anymore. NASCAR has committed suicide by a thousand cuts.

I can't wait for the local tracks to open up again.

I heard Bubba being "interviewed" by Oprah's best friend on CBS this morning. Bubba is dumber than a fencepost, but in all fairness, have you ever heard anybody named, "Bubba," who is smart?

I have not seen Wallace talk since the FBI release yesterday. He is coming up at 10:30 being interviewed live on ESPN Get Up show. I will form my opinion after hearing what he says and how he presents himself.

You were hoping for enlightenment from ESPN?
Not necessarily. I was hoping for Wallace to say what I would consider the "right thing". And that is a positive message for society along with the acknowledgment that there was no ill intent of the "noose" that was found. He didn't say that in the Lemon interview. But my "disappointing" comment was they teased it was going to be an interview and not running someone else's interview on a different network.

Had he stated "I am glad to learn this was not targetted racism and simply a misunderstanding and I am still blown away by the support from Nascar and all of the teams for me during this incident".

At that point this would be all over.

"People that want to call it a garage pull and put out all the videos and photos of knots being as their evidence, go ahead, but from the evidence that we have, and I have, it’s a straight-up noose."

Nope, the narcissistic twatwaffle doubled down, he can't go back now.

It was a crap comment, I agree. I think he could say he was wrong sincerely and hopefully it could be over with. But he hasn't and it is a shame for him and society as a whole in my perspective.

If Bubba knows 1000% that it was a legit nose "hanging over my car"... then how in the frack did no one on his team not take photos of it and keep the damn thing for evidence?

Or could it be a lesser known driver using the times to get more exposure and publicity?

This is after they cut the "noose" off. Look in the background at bay 5, the 17 care. It has a "noose", too.

I think we can all agree that it sure did look like a noose. With that said.....pictures have surfaced of other pull downs at Talladega. Some have loops, some have none and a least two had the noose. Nascar has stated it was the only stall with the noose pull down.

JFC, everyone is handling it poorly. A noose in itself is not something that unusual. It is a freakin knot. If it is on the garage door, ok it is on the door. Acknowledge the damn thing and no harm done. Could they have tied a different knot? Yes but they didn't.

Talk about people getting worked up over stupid **** in order to positioning a certain claim. Get over it, be upfront about it without trying to covering anyone's butt and it isn't anything but a rope with a knot that made a loop.

If opposites on this board can come to peace about it which has pretty much happened, the rest of the world should be able to.

As usual, a Trumper believes some fake news from a right wing site and comes running over here to post the conspiracy rumor.

Just sit back and quit trying to defend your racist type and allow the authorities determine what happened and read real news in order to be informed. And at that time, discuss.

Raciat Bru at it again... Would you like to say anything on this now?

Do you attend NASCAR races? I have never been to a NASCAR race....but I do like all forms of motor sports racing and will watch them on TV.
I have attended IndyCar,F-1 and other forms of open wheel racing for years.
I have hit the Indy 500. I’ve been to a couple NASCAR races. Give me Eldora, Williams Grove, East Bay, Knoxville or Port Royal any day.

I think in the grand scheme NASCAR needed to something to be relevant in social justice realm at the time. I’m sure Petty and Bubba were paid well keep this thing going. Bubba can run well in good equipment but he won’t be a championship contender. Unfortunately, many feel NASCAR sold out to this agenda and alienated some hardcore fans.
