She just seemed so likeable as a person. And she had great fluidity of movement for a big; looked really promising as a developmental player. I am bummed.

Well Liz saw the writing on the wall. We have a lot of players that are in the 1, 2, and 3 positions that she will not be able to beat out. Once it was confirmed that Gabby had committed, Liz said it is time to go. We have all stated that if a player that has tons of talent wanted to come, you cannot turn them down. This is what happened. CB and staff are building depth at each position. I keep stating this fact over and over again. If we are trying to go past the sweet 16 then we have to bring the talent in, including those players coming off of the bench. This is what the elite teams have, and this is what we did not have this past year. Also, if a player goes down or is injured, you have to have players on the bench that can come in and contribute right away, and the team will not miss a beat. This was very instrumental this year. When RK was not able to go, we can all agree that having EA was a blessing. She came in and the team kept on going without missing a beat. This is why coach has brought in CC, GW, and SC, etc.
I hate Liza is leaving. I think she had great ;potential. 6'2, strong and had really good ball skills.

tarboy, I am sure a lot of fans are saying the same exact thing about players from their teams hitting the portal. This is the day and age that we live in now. Even players who played a ton of minutes and started are in the portal. These women are trying to get paid.
