I always wondered why Douc didn’t play, but his defensive awareness and effort is just horrible. Davis did the same move successfully slipping to the basket four times with him in the game for easy dunks( last one fouled by Mathis), then allowing the missed foul shot tip in to end the game. I never said any recruit was a must get but Cliff is a MUST, if Johnson gets in foul trouble we are always screwed.

I feel like one of the last hurdles for a developing program is big man depth. Carter and doucore are simply not b10 players. This game be will decided on whether Johnson can avoid foul trouble and young sticks to driving.
Michigan is outshooting us 52.2% to 33.3%, and they have ten more free throw attempts. Lucky to be down by just three at the half.
Harper and Geo need to wake up in the 2nd half
Montez and Young have played awesome. Young shook off his bad start to find is groove. Going to see alot of minutes on Zavier

Michigan 12-23 6-11 from 3 7-13ft
RU winning boards 22-19 and 10-3 offensive boards
just 3 turnovers for RU...6 for Michigan..watch the boards and turnovers
I think RU needs to get to the line more, our guards need to draw some fouls away from the basket, they arent calling fouls on Michigan near the hoop

Has to stop wide open 3 pointers our guys just cannot come off their men they have to stay on them and not hedge so much
If Myles stays out of foul trouble and we increase our shooting percentage just a little we’ll win. We were awful and our D kept us in that last stretch. Teske needs an early foul too.
Keys to the first half were the 8 minute scoring drought without a basket ,very little points from the second team and Michigan hitting 3 pointers from the corners.Harper and Baker need to show up in the second half and the defense needs to stop the play where Michigan plays 5 out and then passes to the center for a wide open dunk.
I feel like the wings are trying to draw fouls, just not getting them. Geo bumped from behind driving at the foul line - no call, Tez gets hacked every time he drives. Only 1 call. Harper has ridiculous contact in the lane when he turned it over. Yeboah drew contact - no call. The foul sitch is pretty even but UM is getting them in the act, RU isn’t
foul trouble.. that's why they are running it and that's why we're not stopping it
Myles has a tendency for stupid fouls...both of his were fouls he will not make as a senior..have to pick your fouls.....cannot get a foul on first possession like he did today..so he better watch it the first few minutes here...his other foul was on a wild chain of events play,
