I hope they bring this effort back to the RAC for the last home match against Northwestern. That was some tough, gritty, blooding noses wrestling from our full line up. There was no backing down from anyone. We wrestled pissed off and let them watch the clock.
Great to see the team come out so fired up tonight...maybe the whole in state matchup hype gave them some extra juice...even the losses were hard fought and very close...great win.
You saw a battle tested B10 team beat up on a good MAC team. That’s the difference if B10 wrestling right there. And we were the much better me conditioned team as well.
Very good RU vs Rider match tonight. Very good dual. I think the difference IMO is RU wrestles BIG and that experience ultimately showed up in matches tonight. Rider is a very good program.
RU wrestled hard for every second of every period which allowed them to get numerous takedowns in the last few seconds which has been a complete reverse of fortune from the last few weeks.

it all started with nico, and his comeback v.....it's the domino affect....he set the tone.....really proud ,of this young team....and our vets especially donner,who i figured was done for as far him wrestling again for ru,,,,,,he has a new attitude, and it's shows. he's wrestling tough.
One thing is Donner wrestles very hard. In some matches he’s just doesn’t have the talent to win but he gives his all every match from what I have seen so he never seems to lose for lack of effort
