a lot of the ads are timed or have small "x's" to close them. Take your time and close them one by one.

I've tried that and for some reason I get more pop ups

never enter any information, just click on the little X's on the windows. they can be sneaky

Simply click the X's, ignore any new tabs that open (just keep going back to the original one) and you never have to register, download or provide info. Patience. It always works.

after clicking on the Xs, I'm requested to update my media player which leads to my protection software indicating threats detected. Scares the hell out of me.

All I can tell you is that I've been clicking through, ignoring and x-ing out these demands for years -- being in FL that's the only way I was able to see SNY, MSG and other regionals during BE/AAC days. Never ran into any backlash.

you need 1st and formost to have ADBLOCK PLUS.......and the popups go away,,,,I get ZERO
