Wrestling LIVE GAME THREAD: Rutgers vs. Purdue

[koleszar]

Aguilar really hasn't done anything at this point.

[Rusty_Screw_88]

Cannot lose by a MD here.

[MS-RU]

WTF is with that stalemate call. These officials are good awful.

[Rusty_Screw_88]

That just plain sucks.

[koleszar]

Aguilar gives up the Major decision. Can't do that, just not wrestling good at all right now.

[SCNJ]

Time for Aragona to show why he was our top recruit. Huge moment early in his career.

[Rusty_Screw_88]

Come on Sammy

[RUTrack94]

UGH ... lost 2 majors by 8 and a tough loss by Correnti ... can’t take advantage of the medical gift 6 points.

Correnti really hurt.

[LinDan516]

Team score please?

[MS-RU]

Sammy's scrambling skills are insane

[MS-RU]

Team score please?

17-15 Purdue.

Sammy is up 3-0 currently so if he wins it will come down to Aragona.

[koleszar]

OK this ref has gotten stalemate crazy. He called Pagano for stalling and not this kid?

[Clearscreen5]

"Stalemate crazy" - I like that.

[MS-RU]

Sammy wins 6-0 and and RU takes the lead 18-17.

All comes to Aragona. Let's go JoJo!

[koleszar]

Rutgers up 18-17 all down to Aragona match now.

[Scarlet Knut]

Come on Jo Jo

[MS-RU]

2-2 going into the 3rd. Comes down to this.

[MS-RU]

These fvcking stalls

[RUCreedo]

God Aragona is so bad on bottom!

[koleszar]

All my god now he gives us a stalling.

[R U Crazy]

Review for the dange call

[SCNJ]

For the love of god where are the swipes????

[MS-RU]

For the love of god where are the swipes????

These officials are awful.

[bigmatt718]

Shouldve chosen neutral.

[R U Crazy]

Loss in OT,,,,,another W gets away form team.

[SCNJ]

I’m not one to blame refs but was the worst officiated dual meet I’ve ever seen. Complete garbage.

[Rusty_Screw_88]

Damnit

[MS-RU]

What an absolute letdown.

[koleszar]

And Aragona loses it. Un fvcking real. Just not seeing it with this kid yet, I really thought he'd be better. He's now 9-7 at some point he has to start winning these.

[bigmatt718]

Why did we let Lipari walk again? We didnt deserve to win the dual but Aragona just flat out looks like he never wrestled bottom in his life.

[Lips Manus]

He really should have red shirted. His shots are bad he gets flattened way to much on bottom. Bad lose.

[SCNJ]

Why did we let Lipari walk again? We didnt deserve to win the dual but Aragona just flat out looks like he never wrestled bottom in his life.

Lets not go through this discussion after every match

[RUCreedo]

Aragona is not panning out.JoJo..this isnt high school young man!

[Scarlet Knut]

That sucks. It was there for the taking.

[bigmatt718]

Lets not go through this discussion after every match

He better live in the weight room in the off-season. For someone who demanded to not RS, he is literally losing us duals now. To me, that's unacceptable when we had a senior who likely wins us the match today and likely vs Cornell as well.

[Lips Manus]

Also refs were ******* terrible. Legit some of the worst I've seen in a while. Guy jantzer wrestled was on ice skates for the first 2 periods not even a warning???

[Rusty_Screw_88]

Why did we let Lipari walk again? We didnt deserve to win the dual but Aragona just flat out looks like he never wrestled bottom in his life.

He really needs to learn his strengths and weaknesses. He needs to choose neutral or top until he gets better. Tough day. This was winnable.

[RUTrack94]

Ugh ... ridden out an entire 2 minutes ... tough loss ... really was hoping this would have been Jo-Jos moment ... RU wrestled a better score than expected but still coulda shoulda woulda ... lots of chances to secure a winning record, and a very young team!
