On a takedown attempt by Pagano, the Purdue guy's knee got landed on awkwardly and he could not continue.

Hard to tell for sure but Pagano had his leg up high and was driving down for the takedown (which he got IMO) and Brunners knee must have gotten twisted when it got landed on awkwardly.

Officials with a brutal stall call on Olivieri to send it to a major and not calling Purdue’s heavy for unsportsmanlike despite flexing over Correnti twice could end up being the difference.
