First the good:
Nobody got hurt tonight.
We're very tall. ALR shot 18-58 from the field and we bothered their shots a lot.
Momcilovic is a REAL player. He had a Larry Bird-esque moment when he dribbled behind his back in transition and then shot the three. He's going to be our guy. Hope he doesn't get hurt.

Now the bad:
Wilkins is a gunner and he doesn't deserve bullets.
Mason Williams seems to be our second best player and that's terrifying.
Moreno really should have dominated this game. He looked average and he has butterfingers.

The ugly:
We should beat our exhibition opponents by ~50. I'm afraid we're in for a very long season. We're not just going to struggle to put teams away. We will struggle to win against the top half of our conference. 10 losses seems like the floor at this point.

And yes before the haters start, I know your schtick:
1. Let the season play out
2. Let the recruiting/offseason play out
3. Can't judge until we see the product on the floor
4. March is what matters
5. Even if we flame out early in the tournament, look who we beat during the regular season as a bellweather
6. Well who are you going to get as a replacement coach
7. Who's going to pay the buyout, you?

Actually it was all read in 58.43 seconds. Now what was the final?
You’re flexing on a 20 pt win vs a low major with 15 new players in an exhibition game? Do you not have enough basketball knowledge to tell you what your eyes saw in the court? I mean, if the final product is all you care about. Here’s one for you. 26 in 2 years.

The 2012 championship team was down one at the half against Little Rock in Jan of 2012. In January! UK eventually won the game by 22. To say that they had to beat them by 50 in the preseason is a bit much.

Ark Little Rock was a better team than expected & Travis Ford is a good coach.
You make some valid points - playing in Rupp is definitely different than playing in a practice facility.

The days of anyone regulary beating exhibition teams by 50 is over since they started allowing DI teams to schedule each other. I think Pope is gone after this year but the exhibition season isn't about beating up on D2/D3/NAIA teams anymore.
You're arguing that ALR is some sort of powerhouse? LOL

Nobody of significance really wants to play for Pope it’s shown for 3 years now. It doesn’t matter our bank roll they just don’t want to play for him.

Sadly this is true. First it was highschool kids that said no thanks. This year all of Pope's first (and second and third) transfer targets passed. That is why he is looking at the international players. He isn't thinking outside the box - there is no one else left to recruit.

I asked what the final score of the game was out of curiosity as I haven’t seen anyone post it here. I saw on Facebook we led at half 30-19. I didn’t watch the game, I know nothing about the game other than what Ive read on here which doesn’t sound good at all but what I expected. I’ve never said anything good about this upcoming season, in fact I’ve said we were going to lose 12–15 games with pope as a coach regardless of roster. Yes I was saying that well before I even knew who would end up on our team. A flex? What the fork are you talking about. I asked a simple forking question but never forking mind I’ll just look up the damn final score online as asking forking questions on here gets you absolutely forking nowhere.
