All the sudden we are in on this kid out of New Orleans? 6'2" 190 pound receiver... Does this mean they are worried about fitzpatrick?

Good catch... I just hadn't heard much about him so I wondered. Thanks for the post but I'm still a little concerned about Fitzpatrick. I hope we can land the both as we will be thin at TE/WR after this next season

What does the staff think of Snyder? I know he red-shirted, but I haven't heard anything about that guy. They worked pretty hard to keep/get him.

I think they want 4 WR's. So my guess is a back up if we lose out on either Fitzpatrick or Simmons. Lipscomb looks pretty darn good, imo.

I'd love to have him.... Not saying he is a fall back just worried that they may be concerned about Fitzpatrick a little more than before?.... I hope they both come!!!

Looks like he has grown... Rivals still shows him at 5'11" while others list him at 6'1"

Looks good on video. Could use some coaching from the Dr. on his route running, but has good hands and speed. Looks like his high school runs a lot of WR screen passes..

His top 3 are NU, Vandy, and NW and has us for a Jan. 29th visit... so I'd think we have a decent chance, although 247 sport's crystal ball predictions think 100% Vandy.

They love him. As a pass catcher and runner in the open field, he could've been a playmaker in 2015. However, his strength needed to improve in order to block at this level. He will be ready to go and will be a very productive player to compliment Carter. I think the last staff was very lucky to basically "stumble" into an athletic freak like Cethan. He will be a definite draft pick in 2017. But guys like Carter and Stoll represent tight ends this program has rarely recruited.

Lipscomb may currently be a back up plan to Fitz and Simmons, however, with the late visit they might take him no matter what if they have the numbers available down at the wire.

I saw him play this year at Jesuit, I think he is a really solid prospect at WR.

Pretty sure his family is leaning towards Vandy though, I believe he is in Nashville this weekend.

Sounds like he committed to Vandy during his visit

Yep, he's a commodore. I'm not too worried about this lost anyways. We have a couple of that type of WR as commits and on the roster. We need more size @ WR. Unless we are going back to the itty bitty WR committee.

How is it a loss when (a) he doesn't have an offer from Nebraska that allows him to commit and (b) he's still planning on visiting Nebraska? He's a back-up plan, even Stevie Wonder can see that.

P.S.
Fully agree on the WR size comment.

Sorry. I agree the word "loss" isn't a great word to use here because your right, its not a loss. It's just one less option this staff has now.

No it's not one less option, he's still planning on visiting Nebraska. And he will, unless Fitzpatrick commits before.

Speaking of Dez Fitzpatrick and his buddy Tony Butler...I really hope they are dropping hints that they are both N. Butler also just tweeted an hour ago that he is having an in-home visit with HCMR.
