This should be exciting.
Well, since he had an R next to his name...it means that he cause of death was doing something heroic.

If he had a D next to his name...he would have died from mental illness.

There is just no way it could be something like the fact that he was just an old dude who has probably been drinking whisky and scotch everyday for the last 40 years.

Is there any doubt it was the jab? I heard Antifa snuck in on Jan 6th and got him but it didn’t take effect until last night.

RIP Graham. I never wish ill on anyone and won't celebrate his death like many I've seen online today (disgusting as usual for a certain crowd).

As a pol I won't miss him. Slippery and slimy like so many in the swamp (both sides). I know there are war hawks but this guy took it next level. Like, seriously man, this guy wanted us to bomb or attack anyone at anytime it seemed. A lot of speculation he wouldn't come out of the closet either. In today's day and age, I don't get that one either - but who knows if it's even true.

The FBI is apparently at the Senator's home..... Does not mean it's a suspicious death but worth noting.
agree, they will investigate.. who knows if we get the truth or not.. heck the administration could go along with it and use it for justification for X, Y, Z etc..

graham served the country first from a conservative perspective. his finest hour was a fiery defense of brett kavanaugh's nomination to the scotus.

he was a military hawk. served in the air force national guard. retired a colonel. he was a good and decent person.

i suspect a woman will be appointed to take his considerable space in congress until the fall election.

Exactly you go back to Harry Truman and the Kennedys . They would be considered republicans today .
Truman integrated the military and started the Marshall Plan. He was the first president to propose a national health insurance program. He thought the Republicans were a bunch of do nothings.

Agreed. Truman was one of the precursors to Socialism in this country. And, now Communism is starting to take shape.

I am talking today’s standard. You’re full of **** because you are from WV ( don’t know of born and raised) Robert Bryd turned it into a welfare state. My father was born and raised in Boone county he lived there in the 50s , He passed away in 2016 he always told me that Harry Truman was an extremely conservative. That he would be a republican by today’s standards.

Your dad was wrong, Byrd was a Roosevelt liberal and a Constitutionalist. I know other than Reagan and maybe Ike, the GOP hasn’t had very many popular POTUSes since Teddy, so they like to glom onto Truman and JFK.

I mean...all the political labels are for show...for the most part.

Remember Ron was the best president in modern history and he was at one time a D...
I like Reagan and voted for him twice but thirty plus years down the road we see many things he did that are causing us major problems today. Cutting taxes on the very wealthy, taxing SS payments, eliminating funding for mental institutions to just name a few. His greatest accomplishment was getting the Soviet Union to give up but of course that did not last long when Putin came to power.

What on earth are you replying to ? This was a post about the heart issue Graham had. Every reply doesn't need to be an insult or put down, especially when its not in relation to whats posted.

Doesn't change the fact that he is the best president in modern history.

All those things you mentioned can/could have been changed over and over during the last 40 years.

He wasn’t feeling well and was encouraged to seek medical help and said he would do that after his Meet the Press interview Sunday morning.
Damn. I hate hearing stories like this. Why do guys always wait to go in? For every life saving, emergency heart surgery story we hear, more than half the time those guys took their own sweet time getting to the doctor. Ticking time bomb stories.

Glad to see Husker Sports talk is live and thriving.

I've attached a quote about Robert Mueller from our President's Truth Social account. When the President of the United States says stupid things, it sends a message to the public that this kind of talk is acceptable. So if you're angry at people for openly celebrating someone's death, that anger should start at the top.

I'm never happy when anyone dies, because in most cases that person has loved ones who are struggling with the loss. But this cuts both ways. If you want people to stop celebrating deaths, maybe start by asking Republicans to nominate a Presidential candidate with a moral compass.
