my opinion , not that it matters is that move will only make things worst. he is big an slow atleast peeler is a threat to run . One game in and I hear your benching the QB and RB, has panic mode set in ?
It's plain as day you didn't see the game Friday night the that other kid is a sophomore he big go ahead bite the bullet and let him play we will be fine there was many plays Friday night that the o line did a good job and he wasn't getting it done! I have seen where he will be alot better served at other spots on the field!
As for the RB deal the other kids came in run hard didn't put it on the ground and that was the complete opposite of the starter so it is what it is!
We have plenty of games to get it figured out and if not by the time we play them dogs we can try cheerleaders out in that game and still get the win!
With the size of those cheerleaders compared to your o-line you may want to do that this week.

So peeler waits two years for a start ....then gets one against a tough sp team. Thats a tough start for any qb without harbison ....so he struggles some only to get benched again for a 10 th grader who is going to pick up a couple of easy wins brook and tc. Got to feel bad for the kid but thats how it goes sometimes .
But what if the new kid sucks and get's dominated? Then what? Hey Peeler, we bailed on you but now we need you to come back and lead this team? Kills all confidence and divides the team moral. Bad move...
That's what they tell all the kids that get demoted for transfers.
Maybe that could be our ticket to transfers. We could get all of the Crest rejects that get replaced by their All American transfers. I'll talk to the Booster Club and see what we can do about that.
He saw time at WR and DB this summer good enough to start at both. SP didn't impress me sorry but true.
That's okay, tuff. We are like novocaine, been around for ever, underappreciated, not flashy, but absolutely needed for the surgery you undergo when playing us.
The redbone looked better because it actually looked more like a double wing should. Instead of just running the fullback up the gut, they actually ran some different plays and passed the ball. For several years, the SP offense has been basically two plays. Fullback up the middle, or QB keeps it.
As for Crest, they lost of a lot of players. I think they'll get better as the season goes on. Regardless, it looks like Shelby is king of them all this year.

Novocaine? We stopped using Novocaine (South Point) a long time ago...30+ years ago. It was replaced with newer and more effective anesthetics (Shelby).

SP was not trying to impress Crest, they were trying to send back to CC whimpering about a loss and questioning their manhood. Mission accomplished.
As an outsider looking in. Burns still sucks and doesn't know how to keep their players. Shelby will win a state championship (without having to give their rings and trophy to crest) Crest coaches are sweating because they can't recruit and the fans are wishing that Barnes was back. SP is happy that they finally won their Super Bowl again and beat Crest...but will once again choke in the playoffs...meanwhile KM is being awfully quiet...famous quote for all you retards out there. I have read all of your comments and they sound soft as baby *** so I guess the big stick you wanted to carry was not given. It is not that BIG of a deal though. KM has had one poster on here for the most part and I believe he retired for the most part like the others on here. Shelby Lion is pulling a Bret Favre and cannot decide if he is done or not. HOW WAS IT THAT SP DIDNT IMPRESS? i wasnt there but beating a 2 time defending state champion team sure does sound impressive to me just my opinion

Crest fans just making excuses that we beat them. We are better then people think. They will find out these next 2 weeks we are for real.
Wasn't impressive from the outside looking in. It ain't like y'all put on some sort of offensive display .Your fullback had 130 yards on a whopping 41 carries, barely over a 3 yard average, That encourages me as a Shelby fan w/ big Dax and other headhunters at linebacker patrolling the middle. The quarterback ran for 26 yards, completed 50% of his passes w/ one interception. Crest has an issue at quarterback, once they resolve that, they will be contenders again, and yeah, they did indeed have a bad recruiting year.

Nah, not at all. South Point always has a very physical D. My point was, I feel that the interior of our defense this season is better than Crest's. We have great linebackers. I feel encouraged by your fullback getting so few yards on that many carries. He will struggle big time versus our linebackers, interior defense.

Getting beat isn't the end of the world for Shelby Lion Ill still be smiling in the morning either way.... Way to much to worry about in this world, than a football game..
I shall ask the same question of you though, when we beat South Point , are you going into hiding like you and Seadog did last year again, and reemerge next summer spouting off about how yall are going to beat Crest, and Shelby again?
Here is another question to ponder, if we beat yall next week, are you going to once again call us cheats, or say "we gave the game away"
Basically yall sound like former Coach Roy Kirby when Shelby beat him when he remarked " That play was my fault, I didn't have them in the proper base defense" Well I am paraphrasing, but again in your terms that would mean "Well I screwed up"
