I know everyone is caught up in the missed call, and I get that. But the guys don't seem to be caught up in that, which is a good thing.

Based on their comments, they all seem to recognize that we made too many mistakes and didn't rebound well enough in the last 10 minutes of the game. I expect that we'll see a focused team on Saturday.

Great reaction by our guys. Reid is a statesmen, if he doesn't end up playing professionally would love to see him continue to be an active part of Big Blue Nation. They all took ownership, realized that one call didn't result in losing,but lsu on the second half wanted it more. Missed assignments and lack of rebounding

I agree with them. We got outplayed by LSU in the 2nd half. The missed call is unfortunate but we didnt make the winning plays down the stretch. Never want to leave the decision in the hands of someone else, especially the officials.

If we go out and take TN to the woodshed then I will be ok with the week overall. If we just beat them it will be so so. I mean it's a big game don't get me wrong, but after tonight I want to put a hurting on TN and see this team make a statement as they did against UNC and KU.

I don't care if they beat TN by 1 point.Just have to win.

What makes you think we’re capable of taking Tennessee to the “woodshed”?

We’ll be life and death just to win.

Agree there are a lot of games left, but this game meant a lot.
  • Kills almost any chance of a 1 seed without a 3-0 Tennessee sweep, which is dang near impossible.
  • Completely eliminates us getting in the Louisville region as a 1 seed. No way we jump UVA and Duke now barring a unheard of meltdown. Honestly now we need a 1-1 split with UT and hope UVA gets the #2 overall. Then as the top 2 we can go to Louisville.
  • Really crushes our chance of winning the SEC. Which means we get LSU or Tenn on Saturday and the other on Sunday, hard back to back there

We played bad the second half, but we deserved the chance to win it in OT. Not have this much stolen from us

You’re wrong on the 3-0 Tennessee sweep. That conference championship game will mean NOTHING, as you should already know. Win out the regular season and the 1 seed is ours. I don’t predict this happens, as I believe we lose at UT, but that’s what it would take.

Agree. 4 losses at regular seasons end gets us a 1. 5 losses gets us a 2, IMO.

Not sure UT with 3 losses to a team that was #1 at the time and healthy and two losses to a top 8 team will drop them below a 4 loss team with 3 worse losses.

Also, if we sweep them, then they get the 2 and LSU gets the 1 if everyone holds out. We get UT on Saturday, not the title

And I agree, no way we win at UT

As you mentioned, we sure get screwed over a lot in seeding.

At this point, all of that stuff is irrelevant. You can't change the outcome. So you can pout and sulk about it and let it carryover, or you can move on and focus on the what's in front of you. Surely you've heard coaches say "We can't let one loss spiral into two, three, four ... " That's what happens when you're looking back rather than what's in front of you.

It meant a LOT to me!! I have to live with these bastards - taking a bunch of BS already! I never want to see a loss to Loserville but losing to LSwho is the worst thing that could have happened for me!!!!

It meant a lot to many of us. Just us sane ones aren’t asking for a new coach like some uneducated schmuck bags. Not you, but some here.

LOL. I said I hope we do. It would just be nice. Was irritated after losing last night and was hoping the team refocuses and takes it to TN as they have to UNC, U6, and KU. I'm not on here beating my chest saying we will destroy them. I said I know it will be a tough game, but when this team is on point they can dominate people. Especially at home. Last night sucked, but I think we will be dialed in for TN and might have peaked ahead a tad. But no doubt LSU is a good team. 1 game after 10 straight isn't going to cause a ton of doubt to sink in. We just have to get back to playing like we were when we put 10 straight together.
