I really miss Liggins defense especially on point guards. It was fun watching him block UL little guards 4 or 5 times lol

If you read Caliparis book he talked about liggins and how people told him that he needed to let him go when he got there . Cal saw something in him and brought it out of him Liggins was one of Cals best coaching of a player he has had IMO

Only thing better than watching Liggins shut down point guards was watching Cliff Hawkins destroy the other team's pg defensively. Hawk was something else.

Cliff Hawkins and Larry Johnson in my mind the two best defensive guards in my 55 years of watching the Cats!

Tyler Ulis was a great little defensive guard for us this year. He was real trouble for most of the guards,who went up against him.
