Someone retweeted. CBS guy today; saying liberty was taking a big east team instead of sec bc the lac of #s.

I guess it has to do with only 7 spots for non bcs teams from sec

Steve Earhart said a couple of weeks ago that the SEC was pushing hard for a Big East team to fill the CUSA spot. It would be smart on the Liberty Bowls part to do what the SEC asks.
