Love watching everyone debate if we’re a 5 seed or a 6 seed like holy **** . What the **** has happened to our program when getting anything below really a 2 seed used to be a major disappointment. Man the expectations for some sure have been lowered!
Yea and I get it, they’re wondering. I’m kind of like wildcat87 though, I just couldn’t care less whether we’re whatever. I think Mark could potentially be dangerous to the program. We’re in serious droughts and if he stays 7-8 years middling around, making a few sweet 16’s and being retained finishing 4-10 in the SEC, doing just enough etc. that’ll be major droughts and this program loses a lot of prestige.
And I don’t really care what people think about that because I know what I’ve said in the past that came true so I’m not the smartest guy but in Kentucky sports I’ve found myself right a lot and it worries me. I said 2014 Cal better watch coach K, that Duke is a serious threat. I said he’s going to end up with a Hall legacy and not a goat legacy and you would have through I was a flat idiot listening to the responses. I also said Cal flipping knight off was stupid, everyone thought that was funny. Also said don’t trust Calipari he’s going to go psycho eventually here, everyone gave **** over that. Or most anyway. People thought I’d lost my mind in 2014 about coach K. But he was maneuvering to the OAD at the time and people thought he’d never take recruits over Calipari. They weren’t paying attention to his coaching staff and Calipari always craps the bed one way or the other.
So I’ve seen this before and my main concern is the program so right now I don’t like the position and really couldn’t care less if we’re a 6,7,8,9 etc. all of those are just bad seeds to me and we need a new coach. Mark cannot win here, it’ll never happen. Not to the Kentucky level.
