In particular, Strength of Schedule.

WVU is currently ranked #7, and has only lost to #5 or #6 Texas A&M, and beat #9 UVA
Upcoming games are against -
#8 or #10 TCU (twice)
#11 Kansas (twice)
#12 Oklahoma (twice)
#15 or #16 Kentucky (the real Kentucky, not some directional one)
#17 or #18 Baylor (twice)
#21 or #22 Texas Tech (twice)
And Texas and Oklahoma State are also receiving votes and we play both of them twice.

That's a schedule that can earn a spot in the Big Dance

Meanwhile the only ranked team Marshall has faced was # 5 or #6 Xavier, who left two starters on the bench and benched a third starter the entire second half and still beat Doctrine Danny's boys. That and none of their future opponents are ranked or receiving votes in the polls.........but we shouldn't forget that big win over Concord College from the former WVIAC !

NO, hoping for a win of any note from the Cousins. Belein won the NIT one year so happy to brag along with you boys " we're # 65".

Fans of college basketball notice those accomplishments. I can understand why a Herdiot wouldn't because by the time the Big Dance starts the season is over for the Herd. March is time for them to plant taters and sharpen the lawn mower blades instead of watching a tournament that their team hasn't made since Pet Rocks were all the rage.
