B. Yes sir

C. I'll stay

In an attempt to redeem myself, I'd just like to say... Louisville sucks, Pitino lies, WVU is a bunch of inbred idiots, there's no chance in hell Notre Dame stays within 75 points of us, Kentucky is unbeatable, greatest team to ever pick up a basketball, 40-0 is a certainty, UNC cheats and is a disgrace to colleges across the country, and many other things that I don't feel like typing. Anyone that has a opinion that isn't mine is either 1) an idiot, 2) a troll, or 3) both.

Do I blend in with the rest of you guys yet? Would hate to deviate from the Rupp Rafters mold, as it would most certainly result in me being chastised and I'm not sure I can handle it. .
If you think the people here are so horrible and have bad opinions then why come here?

OP-- you seem to have a very low opinion of UK fans, which begs the question...."why are you here?"

Are you sure your not going to be cheering for the Irish tonight?

This is a game I'm really looking forward to, and obviously hoping UK runs away with it resulting in a stress free win. However, it's naive to think this ND team isn't capable off pulling off the upset. They are a very good team that plays a style I believe can be effective against the Cats. I just don't know if they have the size to get it done. If I am wrong and they manage to do what no other team has been able to do this season, I hope you will join me in tipping my cap to them and wishing them the best. On the other hand, if we win I hope we will be gracious in victory because from the games I've seen, their players appear to be good kids.

The nation is begging for someone to beat us so that they can watch our fan base melt down. If the situation ever arises, I hope they will be disappointed to see us handle it in a respectful and classy manner, especially if a defeat comes at the hands of a program that I respect as much as Notre Dame... With that said, Cats by 14. Let's get it done boys!
Oh geeze another moral lecture.

WE are not the boys and WE cannot get it done, but I hope our guys win.

I love UK, and enjoy talking basketball with UK fans. There's no better place to do it than here. Unfortunately it sometimes results in me being scolded for having a belief that differs from the majority as seen in this thread, but the good of Rupp Rafters far outweighs the bad. The people here aren't horrible, they are great. Some just have short fuses. The beauty is that while I disagree with some in this thread, I can jump in another thread with them, discuss a completely different topic, and we may agree 100%. Passionate fans, different opinions, and varying topics are the very reason sports forums exist, and that's what makes them great.

It's a shame we have a segment of this fan base that buys into the media version of our fan base. I am also baffled at how our boys and coach are nothing but respect, and on the other hand, others are completely disrespectful, but it's UK people we all need to worry about?

Grow a set of balls. Think for yourself.

Will you be sending us to "time-out" if we don't meet your demands of us?

I mean, shoot, I can tell from your post that I'm just not as "classy" as you so I'm worried about my punishment.

I get into it with people in one thread and agree in another with no issue. If you take the internet personal in any form, you shouldn't be on this board. But of course, that has nothing to do with buying into a narrative that I believe doesn't exist for the most part.

Op, you must be new around here. Your never going to get faceless Internet guy to show any sportsmanship. Also, stay out of pissing matches because nobody wins, it's just two dudes trying one up each other to create a 60 page thread lol. Good luck

While you mentally prepare for defeat, deal me out. I'm already prepped for success.....
Yep. Seems like op already has his mind made up.

Let me just recap my original post here so I can get a better understanding of what all this backlash about.

1. I hope we are gracious either in victory or defeat.
2. I think ND is a great team, plays a style that could be effective against us, but likely lacks the size to finish the job.
3. I respect ND players, coach, and fans.
4. I think UK wins by 14.

Now which part of that does everyone have such a problem with? Is it just that I made a post asking for something when I hold no authority over anyone on here? Is it the manner in which it was presented that was wrong? Is it the appearance that I'm bracing for a loss despite predicting a 14 point win that everyone is upset about?... I'm just wondering there is actually any material in the post that is pissing everyone off, or if it's just the fact that I brought up us potentially getting beat that made everyone edgy?

What I'm getting at is that while I won't apologize for the things I believe (the four points I listed), I will apologize if I presented them in a manner that was insulting.

Op, I know you feel like your stranded on a desert island surrounded by horny fat chicks, but defending your original opinion against everyone except a few won't help. Just agree to disagree and let it go.

Let me explain something to you....Seriously, pay attention here:

Regarding the rest of the country, being a Wildcat fan is the same as being from Kentucky. In other words, no matter how we act, or how gracious we are, or how classy we are, the rest of the country will always think of us as loser, inbred, uneducated morons. Get that in your head and remember it. It will probably never change. If we acted perfectly for 100 years, I can assure you that on the first day after 100 years, the rest of the country would still think we are Hillbilly idiots.

It is what it is, and you either accept it and realize the rest of the country is actually full of idiots the same as Kentucky, or you choose to fight an un-winnable battle against the stereotype.

Personally, I say let the chips fall where they fall. I have better things to do than to try and conform and perform for the rest.

That is a great post. I can't disagree with anything you said... We'll call it a thread and enjoy the rest of the night. Enough bickering, we all want the same thing tonight. GO CATS!

First, I think saying that OP, your not showing much calling out BBN before they have even played.
Second, your asking the impossible statement may very well be true of a few.
