WTH are you talking about perspective we lost to a 15th SEED. Why don't you put that in perspective!!!
Its not just the loss Thursday night. Its the losing season before that, the going on 8 yr FF drought and the going on 11 yr Championship drought.
Barring a miracle offseason it looks like we will have less talent next year than this.

UVA not only lost to a 16 seed. They were routed by a 16 seed. Then came back and won a championship.

I won’t lose perspective about the fact that Cal can’t coach worth a flying ****. He probably could if he would actually, eh **** it. Y’all know the list of things I’ve been bitching about and it is LONG! His in game coaching or lack thereof is just non existent. He does zero in game coaching/adjustments. End of story. If he did/had, we would be playing Murray State today.
That shouldn’t really matter should it? If it’s such a outrageous sin the #1 overall seed should not lose by 20 to a 16 seed because they’re missing one player.
How many huge embarrassing failures do we have to have before the pumpers don’t just use other people’s huge embarrassing failures to “keep it in perspective? 3 years in a row? 4? 5? Just wondering when our perspective can change.

I thought about this the minute UK lost.
I predicted the minute UVA lost to the 16 seed. That they would make the final 4 the next season. They went a step further and won it all.
But big difference in UVA and UK. They had pretty much the same team the following year. You know the UK team will be completely different players.

Not the point. The point is that this happened to Coach K and he still won another title. One game does not change any program big picture wise. Literally every blue blood has a loss like this. Play enough tournament games as a top 3 seed and eventually you'll get upset in embarrassing fashion. It's the exact reason the tournament is so beloved as a sporting event. There's nothing special about UK makes us immune from this.
