Kansas is 8-2 in Big 12 but 12-1 in non-conference.

Baylor is 7-3 but 13-0 OOC.

West Virginia is 6-4 but 12-1 non-conference.

Iowa State is 6-4 but 8-4 non-conference.

TCU is 5-5 but 11-2 non-conference.

Kansas State is 5-5 but 11-2 non-conference.

Texas Tech is 4-6 but 12-1 non-conference.

Oklahoma State is 4-6 but 11-2 non-conference.

Texas and Oklahoma are having terrible season in and out of conference.

That tells me that the Big 12 is a really tough conference, week in and week out, gutting each other.

Hopefully, this will translate to 2 Big 12 teams in the Final Four.

I think you give the conference too much credit. Not saying it's bad, but TTU, KSU, OU, and OSU with that close shave at Texas is not just "good conference" competition. WVU is dropping more games than it should by not playing up to potential.

Hard to say when it comes to conference strength. Most thought it was strong last year and got embarrassed in the tournament. May be a different story this year, a lot of basketball yet to be played.

I don't think anyone knows who will win it all this year. Hell, it's almost impossible to name all 4 teams that will be in the Final Four, and be 100% right.. Not this topsy-turvy season.
