CU has so many weapons on offense, they will be tough to defend. Couple that with our suspect offense, it could get ugly. On the other hand, we could come out, punch them in the mouth and get the W. Obviously hoping for the latter….

Really??? I assumed he would be because of who pappy is. I didn’t get to see the game. That’s amazing that he had that much success passing.
He had all day to throw. Lots of quick, short throws and then letting the playmakers work. Then he’d take a deep shot. He’s very accurate if given time and will shred our D if we don’t get pressure. Pretty much that over and over. Running game was non existent. Open field tackling by TCU was horrendous.

They rode Sanders’ arm. He’s a stud. Too fast to sack and he’s got very good WRs. He makes up for their suspect o line.

I’m hoping White can cook up something to confuse, pressure and frustrate Sanders. He’s still a fairly inexperienced QB. (especially at the P5 level) Nevertheless, he’s the key, if he has all day (like he did vs TCU) we’re toast. He’s a good player and he has 2-3 really good weapons, we have to have someone in his face early and often. We can beat these guys and I don’t think they’re as good as hype train would have everyone believe. (yet) But they will definitely beat our *** if we play undisciplined and make stupid mental mistakes. There’s a clear path to victory, if we can execute it. Big if.

It blows my mind that after the last 5 years everybody has turned on Matt Rhule after losing by a last second field goal his first game at Nebraska… on the road against a 9-4 team who has an established coach and stable roster.

I get that we lost in the same heart breaking fashion we’re used to but geez give it some time
He played a role in it.
