If I was a rabid OSU fan I’d be booking the flight to Chicago arrival early afternoon on Wednesday right now. Don’t even know if I’d make the hotel reservation for more than 1 night

Northwestern like RU gets screwed big time by B1G. End of their season is ridiculous.
Then again many of you were happy with RU getting three games in a row from the RAC. That Garden game certainly helped us in Indy. Ask Paul and Caleb.

OSU is a paper tiger. Fooled the computers with big wins over terrible programs in 2022, and then totally crapped the bed once 2023 came around.

OSU beat NW by 16 in Evanston on 1/1/23, just before their skid started.
Truth hurts. No effect on Caleb or Paul… really. Dig head further in sand. Quick turnaround no effect and Paul looked fresh as a daisy and RU is playing three games away from the RAC in a week.

Think the recovery was far tougher than it had to be. Three games away from home. Who has not commented that Paul look tired. And Caleb probably worst game of his life. And again it’s three games away from routine and RAC in a week. If you really don’t think that matters? And BtW has Rutgers had a three game B1G home stand all year?? All other teams? I’ll await your answers. Then again maybe I’ll drink the B1G koolaide answer of Logistics!! Lol! SMH!
Let’s schedule RU at Garden and then give MSU and Indiana home games and make RU travel. In fact we will make RU away from home three times in a week but it’s all coincidental logistics and no competitive advantage for MSU, Indiana or Illinois.

If you think there is a travel and rest difference between MSG and the RAC for 20 year olds, then yes it might have mattered. Guarantee they slept in their own beds after beating MSU. But it’s simply not the case no matter how much it supports your theory that playing at the Garden in any way led to tired legs at IU. If you really think the other factors I mentioned weren’t much more impactful (no Mag, playing a hot team) then I don’t know what to tell you.

I have 20 and 30 point wins at the RAC and a chance to rest everybody last two times at RAC. You have RU comeback wins after down 8 in the 2nd half at the Garden. Which wipes you out more emotionally? How come nobody commented on future effects????
MSU and Indiana have home games after Garden and Purdue. Ru has to travel again in 48 hours. Don’t think competitive advantage? Well I do!!!

The emotional impact of winning a game at the Garden? You’re just making up utter nonsense. One could just as easily state with no evidence that the emotional impact of losing Mag was to blame for Caleb and Paul’s poor game - but again, doesn’t fit your anti-MSG game narrative.
