Ben is the real deal. He has a little bit of a Phil Parker vibe in that you believe he'll put it together even with changes in roster or turnover.
That said, I think the loss of Bennett Stirtz is a big one. He anchored the team.

While true, I think too many time the others stood around and waited for Stirtz to pull a rabbit out of his A-- or something. I think we'll be more then solid with the new additions and growth from the returning players. Really interested to see what Thompson brings

There's nothing to object to, because I happen to understand that your characterization does not accurately represent the intent of my post.

"0-0" can mean a few different things. But at this point, it's pretty much an obligatory/trademark response to these types of threads.

I get that "0-0" isn't very expressive of my actual thoughts. But some of the things people have interpreted it to mean, are absolutely mind-blowing. I don't at all understand how you've interpreted my post to be of contrarian intent.

Let me help you out. Most times when there is a rankings thread, I will post the team record, because usually that's what's more important. And it's usually the thought I have to contribute on the matter. For example, when someone starts a thread this season, asking how we grade the first half of the season for the Hawks, hopefully my response will be, "6-0". Not really interested in other grading measures/opinions.

Additionally, in this case "0-0" is to agree with the sentiment of, "let's get it started". Yes, let's get it started! 0-0. It's an exciting place to be. Let's get to work!
