Sorry if I missed a Week 6 gambling thread.

I did better in Week 5. +75.8% return. I'm sticking to a similar strategy this week:

<style type="text/css"><!--td {border: 1px solid #ccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}--></style>
Stanford+16.5
Georgia State+7.5
Central Michigan+6.5
UTSA+1.5
Ball State+5.0
Cincinnati+4.5
Texas Tech+10.0
Western Kentucky-170 (ML)

I was much better last weekend doing $10-20 bets. I won 3 of my 4 NFL bets. Thanks for sharing your strategy and to the others that gave some sound advice.

Another dog I might take a risk in is Troy +24.5 against Missouri. Its a large line and troy is no slouch.

I like Florida to upset Auburn, because as a State fan, what other outcome is possible?

If Auburn's DL overwhelms UF's front it may not be close, but UF has the defense to keep it close if they play lights out. UF can't run the ball at all not even on Townson.

Won big on Ohio State last week but havent put much down this week. I have Cooper Kupp o78.5 receiving yards tonight. I've been thinking over a strategy of parlaying some ATS picks with NE -1100, someone talk me out of it. Upsets aside, why not parlay picks with a strong money line for an extra boost against the juice?

Caddyshack fail. Not a good look. You may have to turn in your man card.

Iowa
UF / Auburn under
Penn State
Vandy
WV

Iowa has been a popular play. I think Vandy / OM could be higher scoring. Sets up for a backdoor cover, IMO.

Iowa scares me too. Lot of overreaction to one road game performance by Michigan.

These all money lines? I don't think WV is very good. They barely beat Kansas. Beat an NCST team that got beat by FSU. They are at home though. My best friend is a WVU alum and huge fan and he was very down on them before season started. Was hoping for 6-6 and he's a pretty optimistic guy usually.

They aren't good, but Texas' defense is very suspect, and that's always tough laying a big spread on the road. Plus the OU game is next week for Texas.

Yeah - home dog, look ahead to OU. Texas really beat up on D too. They’re down several DBs, and I’m guessing they’ll rest them for the Red River next week.

I don’t gamble much (ever) but a friend just opened a book so I’d like to support him.

Is it a bad bet just to take money lines on teams like LSU and Bama (when they’re playing average to bad teams) to just pick up an easy $100?

You're not typically going to get a ML for those types of games through a bookie. Money lines on favorites over 3 TDs either aren't out there or are north of -1500.

Don't get me wrong. Texas has waaaay more talent than WVU and can easily blow them out. Just not a fan of the situation.

Im probably going to stay away from the game... but Michigan has looked like hot garbage in every game except the Rutgers one.

Rmemeber how bad our offense looked against UK and UF last year? Guess who is about to enter game 6 of their implementation of a JoMo style offense.... Its no coincidence they are struggling against defenses with a pulse. They’re implementing this new offense.

Yeah I'm hoping the talent gap helps Texas pull away. They're legit on offense. Ellinger (sp?) is really good. WVU barely beat James Madison and Kansas though, so hopefully Texas has their way with them.

Auburn isn’t as good as the talking heads say they are. I heard all last night how well bo nix did against Mississippi State, but our defense is hot trash. Auburn hasn’t seen a defense as good as Florida, if Laura can score 21 they win

Two caddyshack quote fails in one thread. What the hell is the world coming to

License to kill gophers by the government of the United Nations.

My favorite...

The amazing stuff about this is, you can play 36 holes in the afternoon, take it home and just get stoned to the bejeezus-belt on it that night on this stuff.
