Didnt 1, just 1 person pay the buyout?use pay pal to put your contribution towards the buyout.
Penn State bought out Franklin because their donors are generous, for RU generosity begins at home.
Time for a change is true, but paying for it is the problem.
Pretty sure that was fake news. There also isn’t going to be much of a buyout, his new salary will be subtracted from itDidnt 1, just 1 person pay the buyout?
Ok..but if he doesn't coach it IS the number.Pretty sure that was fake news. There also isn’t going to be much of a buyout, his new salary will be subtracted from it
Then let Rutgers find the "one".Didnt 1, just 1 person pay the buyout?
I dont want to be considered anywhere near a psu cult fan. Then let Rutgers find the "one".
But you must admit Penn State fans support that program
a quick google search found this :>
Yes, Penn State boosters are considered among the best, having recently set a record for the most successful fundraising year in their history with over $164.9 million in gifts in the 2024-25 academic year>
Let's not hung hung up whether 1 or 100 paid Franklin off, it was done and that's the point.
My point is :Rutgers wouldn't find one in a thousand or one thousand willing to put up G2's buyout money no matter how many say he has to go .
Almost half a mile. Think about that for a while! LOL.750 yards
Exactly!I dont want to be considered anywhere near a psu cult fan.
I gave RU $1000 to bring Greg back.
I dont trust Rutgers with a penny of my hard-earned money anymore. So blame them for their incompetence.
And you expect our team to get better somehow?F that. I don’t care what people do with private money but don’t put another public dime into this nonsense of chasing the perfect head coach.
If you want to get rid of Schiano, you need to name the better option that (1) we can afford, and (2) is willing to come here for that money.
I'm not aware of that person existing, but I'm willing to listen.

Did not say anything was wrong, but since you asked, A 3 year run followed by 2015 and 2017 warrants a deeper look into what happened. And while the result at UConn are good, especially considering the teams he has beat or had very close games with in 2024 and 2025. Would be a definite upgrade over Greg.So what's wrong with that?
I was thinking of him myself as a short term solution , stabilize the program, put it on the right track get more booster money because of program showing life and have it become a constant minor bowl team then retire and Rutgers hire someone who can bring the program into the top 25 category.Mora
Counter point- JMU players led Indiana to the playoffs last year. Maybe it’s more about coachingIt’s embarrassing that we are a feeder school to ACC teams. We replaced them with JMU players.
I'm thinking Mora might stabilize the program, make it more like most of the GI era was 'Did not say anything was wrong, but since you asked, A 3 year run followed by 2015 and 2017 warrants a deeper look into what happened. O’Neill was one of the best pass rushers in the portal. He’s been a bust imo nonethelessCounterpoint- if CC took all the good JMU guys with him to Indiana, who did we get?
I mentioned this in another thread but JMU had 58 new players going into Chesney’s first year so I’d say not much left behind after CC left.Counterpoint- if CC took all the good JMU guys with him to Indiana, who did we get?
Put this in perspective, Greg makes 6.5 million a year and Mora makes 2 million. If they gave Mora 4 million a year, they double his salary and we save 2.5 million a year. Not to mention, Mora's assistants make peanuts compared to ours, so more savings thereI was thinking of him myself as a short term solution , stabilize the program, put it on the right track get more booster money because of program showing life and have it become a constant minor bowl team then retire and Rutgers hire someone who can bring the program into the top 25 category.
And Chesney has them at 6-1 and 4-0 with 58 new players, with the only loss a 28-14 loss to solid Louisville team.I mentioned this in another thread but JMU had 58 new players going into Chesney’s first year so I’d say not much left behind after CC left.
The worst part of the deal is the co-DC we had to hire to get those guys. Smith is taking all the heat but no one is talking about this other co-DC.I mentioned this in another thread but JMU had 58 new players going into Chesney’s first year so I’d say not much left behind after CC left.
