JUST changing OC/DC and other coaches and not the H/C gave us the terrible duo of Blake/Cooper.

No, when change it needs to be a full change and not piece meal

and on top of that, he's already gone on record as saying that it's dependent on the HC, not the AD, to give minorities a chance to be coordinators. I'd like some names of minority candidates who are high on any BCS schools' list to be promoted (still waiting...still waiting). No, we need a wholesale change, and agree that it would be the same as Blake/Cooper scenario under Jackie. If any of that sounds racist, it's not any more so than Croom's apparent agenda.

Well, to be fair we also had some wholesale changes in 1995 and ended up with Lynn Amedee and Joe Lee Dunn. Say what you will about Dunn, but his defense saved JWS *** in 96 and then led to one of our most successful periods in football history.

I do wish that we could have kept Bruce Arians.

Sherrill was already a proven coach, was not about to be fired off, and didn't have an equal opportunity employment program agenda. Amadee was also a proven OC, and JLD was thought at the time to have pretty darn good potential as a DC, and Jackie was astute enough to know it.
