Not if you had Drake laying 2.5 and you are up 4 with 15 seconds on a 4 on 1 fastbreak and instead of just holding the ball , they throw it to the other team. , who hits the three to cut it to 1 . Then they foul with 5 seconds and your 81% foul shooter , who just hit 2 a minute earlier , misses the front end of the one and one. That is what you call a Bad Beat.

Bad beat in theory but the -2.5 people got horrendous CLV. Drake was an underdog and even only a one point favorite for the majority of the week
