There are three SEC series this weekend pitting ranked teams against one another, so nine games total. Want to guess how many of these nine games are on traditional TV this weekend?

Two.

And you can’t even blame gymnastics or softball for it this time! In prime time college baseball action on the SEC Network, you get Georgia vs. A&M tonight and Kentucky vs. Auburn tomorrow night.

What the heck are they thinking?

They realize that not many people watch college baseball, especially regular season college baseball, no matter who it playing.

You would think they’d be interested in trying grow the fan base by featuring the best teams, but by this point I think it’s pretty clear they don’t care all that much and just pick random games half the time.

I agree on both points. Once you get past football and men's and women's basketball, they just don't care and try to pretty much give every school equal air time.

College baseball continues to be the red headed step child. But, 17 em. I enjoy MSU baseball more than football or basketball.

But yeah, you would think that #2 vs. #3 would trump unranked Georgia vs. unranked Texas A&M.

It just sucks *** for those of us waiting on the power companies to get the high speed up and going. Thankfully they have the splice box up on my pole and have been told maybe being hooked up next month and can finally join the 21st century.

If you log into the app with your TV provider for SEC Network you can watch our game too.

Yes, most people are aware of that. But what you put on traditional TV versus streaming pretty clearly shows what is being prioritized. And this weekend they are prioritizing games between unranked teams at the expense of a Top 3 showdown.
