Less excited about kansas

We'll get beat.. and be a 4 seed in the tournament.. I'm cool with that too.. KU's leadership will show against ours and that'll be the outcome..
Both teams will be playing with a fire lit under their ***. Could be another battle like UNC.
That's crazy talk to not be able to get excited for Kansas. Wow...
I wanted Kansas to win (how could anyone not)...I wanted that game to be as hyped as it possibly could be...with both losing its lost quite a bit of its luster. At least to me anyway.
Yeah it did take away some of the excitement and anticipation. Maybe because I have much less confidence in a win.
I'm not. I've got my ticket and still driving down from Columbus Friday.
I'm not worried about this game but I never see a vol fan either so that's part of it I guess , we lose in conference road games almost every year in our history . Upsets happen , you throw it away and don't use it as the measuring stick
Wait..... I thought were were going to stomp KU in Rupp? Hasn't that been the talk? We have by far the most talented players. All they have is Jackson, who is talented but can't shoot. An overrated undersized point guard in Mason, and no inside game. Their a donut. Come on guys.....should be an easy come back game. Will give our more talented team a real confident booster once we stomp them in Rupp.

Same here man. I mean, it sucks. However, gonna go to that game and root as though it's for the national championship.
I've never told you to sugar coat anything. Bad loss, lots of complaints to go around.
But dont act like you are not in the dislike Cal crowd. You are not present for all wins but haven't missed a loss since 2009.
You won't know either of us lost if you watch the promos this week. #2 vs #4 BABY
i like Cal... just don't think he's a good x's o's coach.. and wish players would stay more than one year..
I think we beat a Kansas. We have the advantage everywhere but the sf. Josh Jackson is the only position we aren't better
I'm not buying the you like Cal bit. You and my man slugger and a couple other good posters dont really like him for the OAD. Doesn't make you a bad guy, I've always respected and liked all of you.
Cal cannot make them stay and i think we have seen that he hasnt pushed anyone out that shouldnt have gone.
Teague, Lamb, Archie, Dakari, Orton, probably the Harrisons too, should have all stayed and I know for a fact that Cal told them the truth.
What's crazy is to not see all the issues on this team and then name calling people that have pointed it out.
Not getting excited about Kansas with this team isn't that crazy....
I fully think we are going to stomp them. I am just saying I wanted both teams to win so the game would be even bigger.
That's the fine line with this type of recruiting. You want them to stay, but you know they're not and that's why you're recruiting them.
I mean, you can't NOT take the best talent available, right?
It's definitely a predicament.
I love all the talent, but I think titles are only going to come when we have some experience to go with it. But it has to be the right experience. Next year we may not have hardly any. Makes it extremely hard to beat sound teams with good upper class players.
I have felt this way since Wisconsin...don't get excited anymore with the priority of the program being what it is.
Cals teams for the most part are all about potential. Frosh just aren't consistent. I felt he did a better job at UMass but that was before the one and done days. He's the best recruiter there is. He is the best face of a program that UK could ever have. He was born to coach at this school. I don't think the kids stay long enough to develop them. Don't understand his out of bounds philosophy to the very day.
My bad man. I just have no desire to get into a conversation on why we won't win a national championship in January. Silly me. Now go cry somewhere else.
Here's the good thing. These clowns and trolls will be nowhere to be found after we beat Kansas Saturday. Wash rinse repeat.
This is tough to say and hard to for me to say but I'm not sure UK is all about wins anymore. Not just talking about tonight. Probably shouldn't say anymore.

Cal has gone out of his way to say it the past year or so.
He is going to have heart attack and die on the sidelines one day, i dont care what he says about the NBA and recruiting - no one acts like him and doesnt want to win first.
